Great concert. Come early for champagne. We got there just in time from another tour. Beautiful music in great setting.

Ostrich would turn in his grave if he alone were to hear the title of his venue. Why does Austria forget its mother tongue ? The Americans are allowed to hear the entire text in their language, the German has to torment himself with the subtitles. Scandalous. At least 2 stars deduction. Anyone who came up with the idea to hang a disco ball here in this ambience has a catching up to do with empathy and aesthetic sensation... Without optical bells and whistles, it no longer seems possible. Bad parking situation, no numbered seats, seats not arranged offset, unpadded, unsuitable for a longer concert. The concert per se very good, good acoustics, popular pieces, musicians professional, duration too short, ambience very nice. Conclusion: A nice short evening with foreign language and buttocks pain.

It was the Highlight of our visit to Vienna. Very well and beautifully played concert of the “greatest hits” of Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and Johann Strauss II. The House of Strauss venue is historic in its own right, built in 1837, and a premier and small place to absorb all the energy. We loved it!!
