  This cruise had far more than I expected. The crew were very friendly and professional, the boat was spotlessly clean, the meal was superb, the drinks kept coming(!), the boat trip itself was interesting as we went up and down the harbour several times looking at the lights, but got some commentary along the way about the the history of some of the landmarks. We had great weather too. It was far better than I expected so I'm really pleased we did it and would certainly recommend anyone to do this, not just for the Vivid Sydney. My only suggestion would be not take little ones as the few on our cruise got bored quickly.

  We experienced Vivid with Journey Beyond this week. It was one of the most magical experiences we had in Australia. There is no better way to see Vivid than from the harbor. We enjoyed the lights from the harbor and had front row seats to the fireworks. While we saw others packed in like sardines on other boats, we spread out in comfort with personal service sipping champagne and snacking on delicious canapes on Journey Beyond.   The Vivid Dinner cruise was exceptional, certainly worth the money. As soon as you walked onto the boat and saw the crisp white table clothes set with wine glasses and cutlery you knew the dinner was going to be like eating in a top restaurant. The food did not not disappoint. The hostess/waitress was very friendly and attentive. It added to the atmosphere of having old black & white movies without the sound on the big t.v. As it was my boyfie’s birthday, I had a great time, and was so pleased to have chosen Journey Beyond Cruise and would recommend them to anyone that wants more than just a crowded boat with a simple buffet that you could make at home.
