At Sungai Lebam, the main activity is a guided mangrove river cruise aboard an explorer boat. As you drift along the calm waters, your guide will point out the fascinating features of the mangrove ecosystem—such as the unusual root systems of mangrove trees, various bird species, and other wildlife. It’s a relaxing and educational experience, ideal for nature observation and photography. The cruise offers opportunities to spot birds like Black-Shouldered Kites, Herons, and Pacific Swallows, while learning about how the mangroves support biodiversity and protect the coastline.
Desaru Fruit Farm
At the Desaru Fruit Farm Shop, we’ll make a brief stop for shopping, giving us a chance to browse and buy freshly harvested local fruits. Although we won’t stay long, it’s a great opportunity to check out seasonal tropical produce like pineapples, guavas, dragon fruits, or rambutans. It’s a quick and tasty way to end the tour before we head back to the hotel.

5.00I went on the Labam River tour with Izzatul as a tour guide. We had a wonderful adventure. Izzatul is informative, engaging and funny. She knows how to explain everything in a way that anyone can understand. We learned so much from her. We loved learning about the River, the different types of Mangrove trees and the habitats. Izzatul also helped us take some amazing pi tures.

5.00The cruise along Sg Lebam is relaxing and refreshing. In addition, Alif (the guide) is knowledgeable, professional and yet entertaining in explaining to us the mangrove ecosystem. The length of visit of ideal, around 2 hours. Highly recommended, especially with Alif as your guide.

5.00We booked a tour today, and luckily, the afternoon sun 🌻 wasn’t too harsh. As we cruised along the lush, thriving mangroves of the Lebam River, we spotted a variety of birds, including graceful herons and striking black-shouldered kites. A snake was seen hibernating in a tree, and from a distance, we caught sight of an adorable group of long-tailed monkeys! Huge thanks to our amazing guide Udin and our skilled speedboat 🚤 captain Ah Long for their excellent service. What a fantastic way to kick off our vacation!

5.00We had a big group of people including elderly that has mobility issues and the tour guides were patient help us throughout the journey. They were knowledgeable about the mangrove and the surrounding areas as well. Tip take the bigger boat is much more fun

5.00Is a funfilled experience with knowledge gain not only the kids but us adults too. We all had a fun ride, spotted different animals under the experience Captain and tour guide Alif. He explained clearly n clear any doubts the children have. Finally not forgetting all those lovely photos we took. The scenery of the mangroves, clear blue sky as well as group photos. I am unforgettable experience.
