5.00Took this private fishing trip to celebrate our avid fisherman son's 20th bday. Read this was also an amazing way to enjoy Mt Kirkjufell's minus crowds. This was a home run for all of us (sons are 16, 20 and 22). Our guide Kate was fantastic from the moment we arrived and we had such a beautiful fun and successful trip with her. Time flew. It was an awesome way to add variety to all the hiking and driving. Highest recommendation. Thank you Kate!

5.00Excellent weather for July. Scenic views of Mt. Kirkufell. Caught several cod & a haddock — good size. Great guide, who put us on the fish. Hope you enjoy the cigar!

5.00Brilliant trip. The guides were super-friendly and very efficient. We really enjoyed ourselves and caught loads of fish. The whole area is beautiful and this made a good focus for the day. Recommended.

5.00My wife and I had a wonderful experience as a side trip from our cruise. We caught many fish in fact we lost count after 20. Our guide, Tino, was super friendly, as well as knowledgeable, both about fishing and the area. The kayaks and the clothing were just right for us, even though we are older and don't have a ton of experience kayaking. The extra perk was hot chocolate and cookies at the end of our trip, served up a very pleasant Lea (sp?) who had taken her own group at the same time as ours. Must do!!

5.00A beautiful evening paddling out into the bay beside Mount Kirkjufell was very relaxing. The water was calm, temperatures were comfortable and the supplied equipment kept me dry. Catching more than 20 cod in 90 minutes was exhilarating.

5.00Really good experience. There was a miscommunication regarding time and he went out of his way to take me a different time. Caught about 18 fish which was awesome. He did say that this is an unusually high number to catch.

5.00Outstanding fishing in a breathtaking spot with a real local! I had a wonderful experience with Gardar. He runs a well-managed business on the beach in this pleasant town. I learned a lot about Iceland during our chats on the water. In my fishing time, I caught 4 fish, 3 cod (including one very large one) and a silvery smelt like fish. The Bay was pleasant and calm with the mountain and glacier in the background. I highly recommend this delightful experience.
