Our Lady of the Rocks
It was created in honour of a special stone two fishermen found, as it had an image of St. Mary chiseled into its side. From then on, local sailors and fishermen alike threw stones where the Lady had been found, vowing to honour the spot of this unlikely discovery. Inside the church, you’ll be able to explore a vast collection of votive tablets and various works by renown painter Tripo Kokolja, a Kotor native regarded as a master of his craft. You’ll also be able to view the Icon of Our Lady of the Rocks, one of the many wonders you’ll find in these fairytale

5.00We took a 3 and a half hour private tour with a group of 8 and a baby. It was a lovely experience. We went around Lady of the Rocks Island to take photos, then got off in Perast for 30 min and then headed to the Blue Cave. I wish we could have stayed there chilling for a bit longer as it’s a beautiful spot. But it takes around 30 min to get there from Perast so it felt slightly rushed. I guess we could’ve spent another 10 min there as the tour lasted 2h20, but in general it was good! Good things: we booked on the same morning, we were able to choose the start time, they gave us free parking and dropped us off next to Kotors Old Town. The boat was super modern and comfy. Not so good: felt a bit rushed in the Blue Cave, which is the highlight. The driver spoke English but could’ve been a bit more informative. Still highly recommend!

5.00The tour to the Blue Cave was an amazing experience and definitely worth it. The boat ride was smooth and scenic, with beautiful views of the coastline along the way. The highlight, of course, was the Blue Cave itself — the glowing blue water inside is absolutely stunning and feels almost unreal. The guide was friendly and informative, making the trip even more enjoyable. We also had time to swim and explore nearby spots, which made the tour feel well-balanced and relaxing. Overall, it’s a perfect short adventure if you want to see some of Montenegro’s natural beauty without spending the whole day.

5.00The boat tour was definitely one of the highlights of our time in Kotor. The bay itself is wonderful, with incredible views and colors everywhere you look. We were able to connect our music to the boat with Bluetooth, which made the atmosphere even more fun and relaxed: we shared the experience with a German family on board and we ended up singing Abba’s songs and “l’italiano” all together! Lovely Our skipper explained the different attractions along the way, a beautiful small island with a sanctuary in the middle of the bay and another one which used to be an old prison. But my favourite was definitely Perast.. i would have stayed there. A special thanks to the guy who organized it all, who was very patient and helped us plan the tour exactly the way we wanted. Highly recommended💯

5.00Calm water, open sky, and that fresh breeze that clears your head in seconds. The whole experience felt peaceful but exciting at the same time. Watching the coastline drift by, feeling the gentle movement of the boat, and just being away from noise and routine — it was exactly what I needed. What really made the trip special was the tour guide. He was very good, kind, and professional. He explained everything clearly, shared interesting facts about the places we passed, and kept the atmosphere fun and relaxed. You could tell he genuinely cared that everyone was enjoying themselves. The crew was friendly and well organized, everything ran smoothly, and the views were honestly unreal. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure.
