The name and the importance of the city are closely related to the 25 years of activity of your national hero, Skanderbeg, who in the fifteenth century made Kruja a bastion of uncompromising resistance against the Ottoman.

A combinitation of history, amazing views form the castle, mountain of Sarisalltic, old Baazar and delicous food in the traditional restaurants nearby.

The old Baazar, dates back to the period of Skanderbeg. Here, tourists can find Albanian craft products such as embroidered items, carpeting, silver objects, copper, alabaster, filigree, traditional clothing and antiques.

Kruja Castle

Emjoy a guided tour of Kruja city to explore all its iconic attractions. Visit Kruja Castle, Skanderbeg’s Museum, the Old Bazaar, and Sari Salltik mountain. We will pick you up from the hotel and start the tour to Kruja city. After around one hour driving you are in Kruja and we continue the first visit to the Castle of Kruja, which houses Skanderbeg’s Museum. It was the epicenter of the legendary Albanian resistance to the Ottomans, led by national hero Skanderbeg in the 15th century
