I wasn't sure what to expect coming to this, but Maya was so attentive as she went through the process. She talked to us about the history of the tea ceremony, before demonstrating it fully. It was so peaceful, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone. Plus you get to drink matcha throughout!

We had an incredible experience at the Matcha Factory tea ceremony. From start to finish, it felt thoughtful, calming, and genuinely special. Our host, Maya, was fantastic! She was knowledgeable, warm, and engaging without ever feeling scripted. She walked us through the history, preparation, and meaning behind the ceremony in a way that was easy to follow and deeply respectful of the tradition. You could tell she really cares about the craft and about creating a great experience for guests. The matcha itself was high quality, the pacing was perfect, and the overall atmosphere made it feel both educational and relaxing. It was a great balance of learning, tasting, and slowing down. Highly recommend this experience to anyone curious about matcha or looking for a unique, memorable tea ceremony. We’d absolutely do this again—especially with Maya as the host.

This was such a fun experience and a great way to enjoy matcha while learning about its history and cultural significance. Maya was so warm and thoughtful and performed the tea ceremony so beautifully. Great for family and friends and the wagashi was yummy too!

Maya was absolutely fantastic. She taught us the traditions and history of the tea room and demonstrated a traditional tea ceremony. She then taught us and let us try. Then we got to make our own matcha lattes. We had a fabulous time. Would highly recommend.

Maya was absolutely phenomenal. She was so kind, funny, and helpful. And her English is fantastic. We learned all about the history of the tea ceremony and got to watch Maya perform it. We then were able to make our own matcha traditionally and then as a latte. Highly recommend!!!
