  I booked this trip a week before I got to Guilin (I live in China but was coming from elsewhere). I was really looking forward to the tour, but on July 4 (my booking was for July 5), I had not heard from the company at all (they advertise hotel pickup so I had expected to at least hear from them to get info about where I was staying). I reached out through the number listed on TripAdvisor, and I texted back and forth with the person on the other end for a little bit. They asked for my booking number and info such as whether I was traveling alone... A couple of hours later (this is still the day before my tour) I got a call from someone who was affiliated with them saying that because I was the only person signed up for the tour, they would be cancelling the tour. The man offered to set me up with a private car to still do the tour for almost double the original price, but as a single female traveler I didn't feel good about that and wasn't a fan of the price, so I declined and asked for a refund. Since it was within 24 hours of my booking, I couldn't cancel on TripAdvisor and get a full refund. I was able to see Guilin and Yangshuo on my own, but I certainly want a refund for the service I didn't get. I texted with the original person some more the next day (the day I should have gotten my tour), and they insisted they would get a refund to me once they "fixed a problem with their website." One week later I'm still waiting for my refund. The person at the original number has not responded to my texts today.

  Second time on their day trip, accompanied by a good friend, the quality is still the same good, Tom tour guide said to make guests feel good in the space 7 seater car only arranged for 5 people, my friend said although the price compared to other travel agencies a little more expensive, but the experience is good, Tom also we visited the most scenic, very good service.

We got an outstanding help from the hotel represetive, Annie, weeks before the tour. She assisted in all the booking process - payment, car arrangement and all the the rest, and was super nice and informative. The hotel and tour staff were just perfect. They answered all our questions about China in general and Guilin area particularly. It definitely was one of the best adventures in our 3-weeks stay in China. The price worth it, and if you want to have an unforgettable experience, we recommend doing it!

  隐居源的服务真的好棒，其中晚餐我们选择酒店的晚餐，酒店服务员Amy姐的厨艺很了得食物弄得美味. 这几天我们由杨司机杨其平师傅全程陪伴与接载，师傅驾车技术很好和服务也很温馨。我们全部7个人，老人，成人，和年轻人全部都很喜欢杨师傅的服务。谢谢你们咯:) Nice Service provided from hotel staffs and excellent service from drivers/ tour guide,Mr.Yang Qi Pin They all really helpful & fiendly. Really Recommended.

  Check in at Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel. Ms. Annie Yang was very helpful and made all the necessary tour arrangement for us. Well done! Looking forward to visiting Guilin again soon 💪

  Our tour with Ray was as beautiful as it was delightful. Ray is a wonderful guide who is informative and friendly. We greatly enjoyed every destination. Thank you to the amazing Staff and Rowling at Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel for recommending this tour to us.

  The trip was perfect, thank you for recommending me to join this group Amy, from reception to asking, she was like a local map, all able to show you how to walk, and play, from the art of tea, the presentation was very professional, because we had looked down from the highest peak to Guilin's prettiest scenery, there would be the most natural tea plantation, seeing the cormorant you wanted to see, the background, and the most famous $20 was perfect, thank you very much Amy and our guide, thank you, Guilin trip was my most meaningful trip

  Thank you Sugar sister carefully arranged the raft trip to Lijiang River, we booked a small group trip, along the way the scenery is beautiful, the driver Master Yang is professional, especially attentive, explained to us a lot of local humanistic style, patiently took care of each of us, and also met other friends. Comfortable living, comfortable eating, having fun. This trip to Guilin is fantastic and highly recommended!!!

  Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Very well organised and arranged by the hotel. Exceptional value for money. Our guide ‘Ray’ was a delight, funny, very knowledgable with excellent English. Plus a very patient driver. Nothing was too much trouble. Brilliant tour would highly recommend.
