This tour comes in three different versions. Book the Boat Cruise option if you’d like to stop in Fort Augustus and join a boat cruise on Loch Ness, the Whisky Distillery option if you’d like to do the distillery tour, or the Boat Cruise and Castle option if you’d prefer a shorter cruise and to visit Urquhart Castle.

Feel free to bring a packed lunch and/or snacks to avoid spending time queuing. There are regular stops on tour to purchase food and refreshments that suit most dietary requirements
There are regular stops on tour for comfort breaks, as we do not have toilets onboard the coaches
There are three versions of this tour, please ensure you pick your preferred option when booking. Tickets to activity can be purchased during the tour.
Minimum age to travel is 7 years old (8 for Whisky Distillery option). Photo ID, such as a passport, may be required. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
This tour has been designed to show you as much of Scotland as we can fit into one day! Due to the distance driven a large portion of the tour is spent on the bus, taking in the views and scenery of Scotland. Any time not accounted for in the itinerary is spent travelling through Scotland on the bus.
Please note: To manage demand and protect smaller towns during peak season, the route may run in reverse. A significant portion of the tour is spent on the bus, allowing you to relax and soak in the breathtaking Highland views.
We do not allow bookings for more than 8 passengers, please reach out if you are looking to book a larger group.
Scottish weather is unpredictable, we recommend bringing suitable clothing and footwear.

Callander
For those joining the Boat Cruise Option, our first stop of the day will be in the town of Callander; “The Gateway to the Highlands.” Nestled at the foot of the Trossachs Callander offers its guests plenty of place to stock up on refreshments, gifts and views toward the Trossachs. **Please note that during the summer one coach per day will drive the route in reserve and will make an alternative comfort stop due to limited opening hours in Callander**
Deanston Distillery & Visitor Centre
Passengers joining the Whisky Distillery Option, your journey begins with a visit to Deanston Distillery instead of Callander. Housed in a former cotton mill and nestled on the banks of the River Teith, the distillery produces a range of premium single malt whiskies. Enjoy an optional guided tour through the distillery (tickets not included), where you’ll learn about the traditional whisky-making process and the history behind this unique location. Finish with a tasting of Deanston’s finest malts, guided by an expert who will explain the distinct flavours and characteristics of their whiskies. *Please note that the minimum age on the distillery tour is 8.*

5.00We had an absolutely fantastic and informative, and well-planned day trip with our wonderful guide Fraser. The day started really early but it was well was broken up by several great stops and scenic views. I can’t say enough about our fantastic guide and driver, Fraser. Fraser is an amazing driver and story teller all at the same time. It was fantastic how he incorporated Scottish music, history, and humor throughout the trip. We laughed smiled and sang the whole day. He had everyone attention all day. He did a great job in referring to specific points of interest during the whole journey. The highlands are amazing and will definitely be back. This tour is highly recommended to see so many places in one day. Great way to experience and gain knowledge of the areas outside Edinburgh. Thanks Fraser ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5.00We were traveling with my husband and another couple, we opted for the Distillery tour and were directed to a tour mercedes van verse the oversized bus! Ryan was our guide and he made the trip phenomenal! He was so informative and friendly! Even giving us an amazing recommendation for dinner at the Makars Mash Bar! Which we went too right after Ryan dropped us off and it was our favorite meal in Edinburgh!! The value of this tour is unbelievable! We never would of been able to see what we saw in one day! Thank you Ryan!!! Only feedback is I wish the Loch stop had been longer so we could had enjoyed lunch, we were worried about time only having a hr and wanting to get our photos by the loch. But beautiful day! We would absolutely recommend this!!!

5.00I waa celebrating my birthday with my daughter and we booked this tour to not just visit Edinburgh but to also visit more places within Scotland and she got to see the Highland Coos that she loves so much. Jason was our driver and tour guide who was knowledge and kind around the trip and look forward to the next one.

2.00The trip itself was interesting, with many places to see. Unfortunately, the experience was negatively affected by the guide. He spoke almost continuously and for very long stretches, and many of the stories were not particularly engaging. At times it felt repetitive, as he went on at length without pauses. In addition, his very strong Scottish accent made it difficult to understand what he was saying. Overall, I would estimate that he spoke for around two-thirds of the seven-hour bus trip, whereas one-third would have been more than sufficient. Finally, I believe it would be safer and more effective to have the driver and the guide as two separate people. Having the driver act as the guide at the same time did not feel safe.
Easy decision- take this tour!

5.00Our driver and tour guide extraordinaire, Rod, gave our group a wonderful day. He was a great bus driver and told us about so many things in between our stops. We got to stop at some picture sights as well as the 2 hour stop at Loch Ness. Rod always had great food reccomendations and was incredibly knowledgeable about our whole route and stop locations. He even added a surprise for us on the trip back to Edingburgh that was the highlight of my trip to Edinburgh. I chose to do the Loch Ness boat ride and really enjoyed learning about the Loch and hoping to catch my own Nessie sighting.
