My friend and I had so much fun at Lyrarakis! The shuttle was easy and convenient and on time, and it was pleasant ride through the Cretan countryside. The facilities of Lyrarakis were stunning and the staff we interacted with, Sophia and Daphne, were so kind and really added to the experience of our tour and tasting. All of the wine and food was fabulous. My friend and I even brought home a bottle of Za Za Zu each back to the US! Shuttle service even took us back to our stay in Heraklion- SO appreciated that we didn’t have to coordinate transit/taxi to the winery and back. 100 recommend this experience for a few hours of entertainment outside of Heraklion and as a way to see a less urban part of Crete!

Travel was easy and friendly driver. Enjoyable vineyard tour and explanation of this vineyards process and why they grow grapes differently than in other areas of the world due to climate. This tour included (5) wine tastings ?(they called it the queen tasting). Another tour included (7) wines. The 5 wines were a selection of mixed vineyards, and the 7 were their nicer wines single source wines.

A good afternoon out! The wine was lovely - 2 reds, 2 whites and a sweet sparkling wine - and the winery itself is in a stunning location, which was really relaxing. The tour was also interesting and the guide was friendly and answered all the questions our group had. If you want to pick up a bottle afterwards (we got a few!), the prices are very reasonable and it's easy to find the wines you liked from the tasting. The transfer from our hotel was very prompt and easy to find, they provided details of the car and a map pin for the pick-up point, and our driver was really friendly and gave us some great info about Heraklion and other areas in Crete. The only thing we felt could be improved is that we would have liked to have had a bit more time at the winery, perhaps to have another drink and explore a bit more - it felt like we were travelling for longer than we actually spent at the vineyard. All around, we had a lovely afternoon with great service and communication, and lovely wine, just perhaps a little too quick for us. Thank you!

Great customer service however I am very grateful that this booking ended up being cancelled. We were told by the provider of this trip that the taxi would only wait 45 mins for us. Leaving no time for a tour or lunch. We went direct to the vineyard, thier transfer package was not only cheaper but it included wine tasting and lunch. We were also able to stay as long as we wanted. For such a beautiful vineyard you really don't want yo be rushed.

A very nice, private wine tour with only another couple with us. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. The five wine tasting was the best I ever had dissecting the aroma and taste of each wine. Highly recommend the Titakis Winery!

The winery was beautiful, the wine was good, and we liked the driver. However, they picked us up an hour late and shortened the tour from 3 hours to 2 hours. When we arrived at the winery, there was no one to greet us. We stood there awkwardly for 5 minutes until someone finally asked us what we were doing there. They then said someone will be with you in 5 minutes. After we were seated, we had 4 pours. They were incredibly weak. Between the two of us, we probably had 50ml of wine per pour, just a splash. It was not the Greek hospitality I've experienced everywhere else in Crete. I would not recommend.

Would definitely recommend this tour if you visit Crete we had an amazing time and the views are stunning, the staff also go above and beyond making it such an amazing trip

The staff was friendly, very knowledgeable, variety of wine options, and beautiful, family owned winery. I bought a few bottles to bring home with me and also tried raki.
