Once at the top, our local guides from Valley Isle Excursions will set you up for the best experience—pointing out incredible viewing locations, sharing tips for seeing the sunrise, and telling stories about the history of the island.
After sunrise, we’ll take a short tour of the remainder of Haleakala National Park and the nearby ranch lands.

5.00It gets about 30 degrees up there and you will be waiting for at least an hour or so before the sun actually rises so make sure you wear gloves and a hat. We wore track suits with long sleeves underneath and our tour guide gave us Pancho's which were thick. Overall excellent trip and a must see.

5.00Helped us to experience the majestic sunrise. Initially we thought to cover by ourselves it given we couldn’t secure the parking ticket, went with this and eventually felt that this was a right decision given early morning sleepy situation and winding road for this 8 hours activity ending with great breakfast. Our tour guide was very friendly and told us many interesting facts and stories

5.00This was such a magical experience. We did have to get up early … 2am pickup but it was hands down worth it. Bully and Alekia (Alex) were our guides and they were fabulous! We got up the mountain around 345. This company gives these wonderful warm ponchos … believe me, it was heavenly because it was 38 degrees at the top. We got to see a beautiful starry sky when we arrived. No light pollution made it so gorgeous. The sunrise was spectacular. Photos do it no justice. We then traveled down the lout sin and Alex pointed out lots of sights and historical information. They dropped us off to have breakfast at a Plantation which was delicious and gorgeous. Highly recommend this company.

5.00A bucket list item! My husband and I have made this trip twice before. This trip our son was old enough to make the journey and he did so solo with this tour company. He had a fantastic time! Thank you for the safe and enjoyable trip.
