Once at the top, our local guides from Valley Isle Excursions will set you up for the best experience—pointing out incredible viewing locations, sharing tips for seeing the sunrise, and telling stories about the history of the island.
After sunrise, we’ll take a short tour of the remainder of Haleakala National Park and the nearby ranch lands.

5.00My boyfriend and I really enjoyed it. Brian and Billy were great tour guides. Just a tip; bring layers. It’s extremely cold at the top. You’re waiting for the sunrise outside in 20-30 degrees and it’s windy. Even though the tour gives you a poncho your fingers and toes will be freezing! So bundle up. It’s a great experience, highly recommend.

5.00Great experience! The transportation arrived right on time and we received a reminder call about 10 minutes before. The drivers, Alex and Abe were very nice, informative and funny. It is VERY cold at the top of the volcano so be sure to dress warmly. The drivers provided panchos which helped a lot. Really nice breakfast afterwards. Experience was absolutely beautiful, mystical and worth getting up for!
