Once at the top, our local guides from Valley Isle Excursions will set you up for the best experience—pointing out incredible viewing locations, sharing tips for seeing the sunrise, and telling stories about the history of the island.
After sunrise, we’ll take a short tour of the remainder of Haleakala National Park and the nearby ranch lands.

5.00Had a wonderful time with Billy as our driver and guide! He was very patient as my family was running a little late for pick up and didn’t make us feel bad about it but was very understanding. He was very personable, friendly, kind, and professional and shared both personal stories and information pertinent to our Haleakala Tour, in addition on how to pick a ripe pineapple and choose the best tasting fish in a restaurant! The sunrise experience was not disappointing and it was very beautiful to watch the horizon become different shades of orange as the sun slowly rose in the sky. It was extremely windy with almost constant strong wind gusts the whole time and the ponchos that were provided helped greatly as it was also very cold at that high altitude. The whole family really enjoyed this time with Billy as he helped make this a very memorable experience for each of us! 5.00The Majestic Haleakalā Sunrise Tour was incredible! From prompt pick-up to the breathtaking views at the summit, everything ran smoothly. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories as we waited for dawn. Watching the sun rise above the clouds was unforgettable — an absolute must-do experience on Maui. Breakfast at Cafe O'Lei was also superb! Tip - make sure you remember your layers - hat, gloves, thick jumper and trousers. The wind makes all the difference!

5.00SO so worth it! Our guides, Everett and Billy were awesome and so knowledgeable. Seeing the sunrise on Haleakalā was such a mesmerizing experience. If you’re on the fence about it, do it!

5.00This was well organized and we really liked the breakfast location. Bring cash. It wasnt too cold but the wind is serious. Gets a bit crowded so definitely book ahead.
