  They play pretty loose with the term desert here. The quad bike and camel ride was a walk around what was essentially a car park. The quad ride was a very slow convoy down a gravel track and back to the car park. Maximum speeds probably 10 mph. There must have been bookings from a number of providers on our bus, we were the only two people that did the quad ride so everybody else had to sit on the bus for 45 minutes until we were done. There were lots of people at the evening show which meant dinner was a fast production line and the quality of the food reflected this. After experiencing some really good tagines during our stay the food here was very poor in comparison. For the price, it was a good way to spend an evening but manage your expectations if you book this trip.

  Overall, the trip was quite disappointing. The driver arrived late to pick us up and even dropped a friend off on the side of the road along the way, which meant we had to go off route for an unclear reason. We were also driven past our hotel on the way to the location, yet the driver had earlier claimed that picking us up from there would be too far out of the way. The location itself turned out to be what looked like a random farm, and not desert as described & as pictured. Unfortunately no one there spoke English, so we had very little idea what was happening throughout the experience. The food was also very poor — two portions were given to be shared between three groups of two people, and it was served cold. One positive was the guide/driver for the day, who was faultless and very helpful despite the other issues. However, the advertised argan oil experience never happened, which was another major disappointment

  I booked the experience through Viator. I booked the trip for me, my partner and my three children 14, 12 &7. This trip was under £100 for all of us (£20 each). I was worried as I wasn’t sure how we would get to the pickup point as our hotel was not near the pickup point. The morning of the trip OUSSAMA messaged me on watts app. He explained all the details of the trip in detail, what we needed to bring etc. He then told me that he would pick me up from my hotel and return for 400dirhams (£36). AMAZING PRICE. OUSSAMA messaged me when he was 5 minutes away. THE TRIP….. This trip was absolutely amazing…. I have created memories with my children I will never forget. OUSSAMA was a fantastic tour guide, very organised and efficient. I cannot believe how much we got as a family for £20 each. In the UK you wouldn’t get anything like this. We had a camel ride, quad bikes (which my older children drove themselves). We then stopped off at a little shop/cafe and was given bread, dips and tea which was part of the trip and free. Then they took us to this amazing location with breath taken views where they fed us a chicken meal. We then sat around a fire and had a fire show. Back on the BUS OUSSAMA then blasted the music and we all had a party on the way back. AMAZING DAY THANK YOU OUSSAMA FOR THE AMAZING MEMORIES my kids are still going on about it now. Kaleigh UK

  This was a great excursion, we had such good fun on the camels and the quad bikes! Zaki was very friendly and looked after us well ☺️

  Wear pants and bring a light jacket or sweater for the dinner. I went in late February and I got cold at night. Hamza our tour guide was very helpful and friendly!!

  Abdelhaq was a great trip leader! He was super friendly and gave me and my friend feel super welcome and safe! We had so much fun riding camels and quads, as well as trying local peanut butter, olive oil, and honey at an argan oil cooperative. We also had a great dinner and fire show.

  The agency didn‘t pick up us at the airport, didn‘t respond us, we called them. It‘s a scam, please don‘t book it
