  Our guide Simon was amazing! He loves his home and gave us lots of wonderful facts about the island. He was willing to do whatever we wanted to make the day a great one! He took the BEST care of us! Highly recommend this company!

  What a great experience. Zip lining was fun and adventurous, then off to see the sloths and have an encounter with Pancho the little monkey. Tell him hello when you get there. Highly recommended.

  We had 2 great zip-lining guides. Dave was a great driver. The monkeys and sloths were worth seeing. The chocolate factory was great bonus.

  Our guy Daniel showed up exactly on time at our rental house with a clean air-conditioned SUV. We had put together three tours, so this was gonna be quite a full day. First, we went to the little zoo where we got to play with monkeys, see the sloth and a few other little beautiful animals. Then off to the zip lining the crews there were extremely professional. And we went on about 10 different zip line platforms as we made our way down the mountain. it started raining while we were zip lining, but it really wasn’t a problem. It was kind of actually refreshing. within headed to the far east side of the island of Roatan where it is a lot less developed and joining our captain for a boat ride through the mangroves where the Pirates used to hide out.. We saw also fishing villages on vacation homes up on stilts as well as a few little waterfront bar restaurants that populate this part of the island . On the way home, we took a detour through Punta Gorda and saw how those people live in their unique little village there. For lunch, we stopped with the guide at a waterfront restaurant and had a decent meal. Once again, I cannot stress what a great guyDaniel was keeping me comfortable in his air-conditioned SUV.

  

  

  

  

  

• Core memory day!

  We were a group of 19, and I worked with Mary at Roatan Five Stars to plan and organize- she is a saint who answered all of my emailed questions with patience, speed & professionalism! This excursion was one of the highlights of our trip! We had two amazing drivers (JB & I wish I wrote down the other gentleman’s name), they were both very professional and incredibly knowledgeable on anything we asked them! The zipline tour was the one near the port, and it was spectacular! Anthony & his crew took great care of us there! We were still able to hold sloths & interact with monkeys, though Roatan Five Stars was very transparent with us that there was a new law that may prohibit that portion. Honestly, it wouldn’t be a make or break on this tour, the other things would have still been an excellent experience. We went to a rum factory which had the most incredible views, the chocolate factory had some delicious frozen treats, Roatan Five Stars outdid themselves with this tour and I am so grateful!

  Our family of 8 had a wonderful visit to the Mayan Jungle Zipline and Sloth and Monkey Sanctuary. The folks working the zipline made sure we were safe and comfortable, even grandma and grandpa! The zipline had 10(?) segments, and was thrilling. The animals in the sanctuary (sloths, monkeys and parrots) were well cared for and healthy. What a special opportunity to to interact with these animals as our guides shared detailed information about them, their habitate and their behaviors. Highly recommend this as a family excursion.

  Our driver, Daniel, was welcoming and very knowledgeable about the island. He encouraged us to stop, take photos, and browse. He never made us feel rushed, and made sure we were comfortable during the trip. In fact, we had such a relaxing time we decided to request him again for another excursion. If this is your first time in Roatan, these private excursions (it was just me and my husband) allow you to see much more of the island and get more of a local experience. Glad we did 2!

  This experience was the most wonderful. The islanders are patient and fun to be around. The guys made the zipline fun although I was so scared, but they ensured my 6 yr old had a blast. The monkey and sloth visit was so cool, the tour guide was so knowledgable. My tour guide Shonna was the best ever, she was like visiting a family and just so excited to tie you around and show you everything. She didn't rush is and that was important to me knowing I had a high energy 6 yrs old with me. She made sure everything was prepared for us and whatever we wanted she made it happened. She is my tour guide for my next trip. This was the best trip ever. Viator thank you for making this experience worthwhile.

  Roatan 5 stars is a great tour company! Wilson was our guide and he was amazing!!! He took us to the ziplines which was awesome, to see sloths and monkeys, to the chocolate and rum factories, and then we ended our day with an amazing lunch Wilson suggested. It was a day that my family loved (and it is hard to please everyone)! We left a piece of our hearts in Roatan and hope to return one day soon!
