Museo de Sitio Intiñan (Way of the Sun) is a didactic and interactive center of solar culture, where you can perform several experiments to prove that you are in the Half of the World.
It is a geographic center of the ancestral worldview and an ethnoecological habitat in the Middle or Center of the world.
It preserves, promotes and disseminates knowledge of the solar culture possessed by the aboriginal peoples who inhabited the current Ecuadorian territory.
It offers samples of the customs of these and others the Half of the World in which we visit the Intiñan Museum where Zone 0 and the equatorial line are located.
We continue to the biodiversity of the parish of Mindo being able to carry out various activities such as knowing San Tadeo Bird to admire the variety of Birds and orchids, also among the options the Butterfly which has variety of colorful Butterflies, you can also opt for the chocolate tour, Canoping or Friday tubing.

It is one of the most interesting places for national and international tourists. Inside is the Equatorial Monument, perched on Latitude 0º0’0 ”, in which you can be in two hemispheres at the same time. Its architecture is based on a characteristic sample of the colonial style.

5.00This tour goes to the official historical monument abd the real equator nearby. Aurelio was exceptionally helpful. Note that he only speaks Spanish, but he knows where to go and the price is very reasonable for one or two people. He also arranged a transfer at my next stop, which my travel agent had been unable to do.
