Minimum age to attend is 12 years old. All participants require a paid ticket. This is an exclusive small-group tour with a maximum of only 10-12 people. MTL Detours, founded in Montreal, is a 100% locally owned + operated small independent tour company.

The tour includes outdoor portions to see outside points of interest. Please dress appropriately for the outdoor weather conditions.

This tour involves 2 hours of walking. The distance covered is approximately 4 km (2.5 mi). There are staircases (mostly going down) and escalators on the route.

Not suitable for travelers with any mobility issues, impairments or serious medical conditions due to the amount of walking involved and the pace.

The small-group tour is available in English. Private tours are available in English or French. Please contact us to inquire.

My husband and I loved the tour on Saturday with Erin (I think). She was absolutely delightful and a such a good and interesting guide. We learned so much about downtown Montreal and the tunnels and the “underground city”. I highly recommend!
