Discover one of the most mystic Catalan wonders on our 4-and-a-half-hour tour. Take the cog-wheel train or the cable car and enjoy a breathtaking ride up the mountain. Walk around the sanctuary and imagine the many lives lived by the monks at the site through the centuries. Finally, visit the Black Madonna known as La Moreneta in the Basilica or taste some of the local liquors made in the area.

It was a lovely tour, Silvia was amazing and super kind and very well knowledge, I just wish the TD was more wary of the guests, maybe consider doing a head count of the passengers. Overall a great experience to do.

First and foremost the tour guide, which was female was rude and disrespectful to the tourists. The entire group felt like we were in a first grade class. She chastised an older gentleman for taking a picture she was in and demanded that he erase it. She embarrassed him in front of the entire group. It is also very time consuming when every instruction or informative material is being given in 2 languages. It is brain overloading. I did not enjoy any part of the guided experience.

Left Barcelona by bus and a 40 minute ride the train station, where we ascended to Montserrat. Beautiful views; great geological formations. Saw the Brown Madonna and other wonderful sights in the monastery.
