What an incredibly beautiful site to visit! We stopped at a couple spots on the way over and had some breakfast and picked up something for lunch. We were expecting it to be cold for our hike - we were very wrong! It was a very hot day and the sun was shining - so it was very warm on our hike. I had to buy a t-shirt on the way there. Bring sunscreen - the sun is very strong. The views along the entire hike were amazing! You have to stay on track to get there and back but it’s very doable. My only complaint would be how hot it was in the bus after the hike - it took a long time for the air to kick in. We made a couple stops on the way home - the fruit stand and the ice cream were great. Would highly recommend this tour! Jeff was our guide and he did a great job!

We had a wonderful experience with our guide Chris. The drive was beautiful and Chris shared many interesting and fun facts and stories about the area and New Zealand as a whole. Chris had also prepared a very well curated playlist for the drive, making the car ride very relaxing and enjoyable. The time alloted to the hike itself (3 hrs) was a little short as we really had to hurry to ensure we got a few minutes to sit and admire Aoraki/mt. Cook before we had to walk back to the car. But all in all we had a fantastic day with a great guide!

The tour guide is the best. He explained things very well and took us to a variety of great places besides Mt Cook. We really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it.

This was a perfect day trip. The scenery is exceptional and you are given plenty of time to take photos on the way and then to hike the trail. You also get the option to book a scenic flight or helicopter ride, which was a nice touch. Kelsey was an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable guide.
