Our tour guide is very knowledgeable and caring for every tour member. The fantastic and stunning views of multiple lakes and Mt Cook are beyond we expected. The small group is a plus.

The trip was quite wonderful in every way. The two stops at incredibly beautiful lakes - one with the small chuch and crazy beautiful flowering lupins and one with the southern alps and Mt. Cook visible across the lake were spectaculour. The time at Mt. Cook was also memorable. Our driver was less talkative and informative than on other tours I've been on and that was mostly fine. But when it came to making a choice between various options at Mt. Cook a bit more description would have been helpful. For example, even if there is not enough time to walk the Hooker Trail to the end and back. I found that the trail to just past the second amazing hanging bridge, where Mt Cook comes into sight, and then back is very much to be recommended and can be done in less time. But overall it was a spectulous trip! Of course, the fact that we had the very best sunny day played a large role too!

This is an excellent tour, and highly recommended. Yes, it’s a long day, but our guide, Dan, gave us excellent commentary, kept us on schedule so we didn’t miss anything, but didn’t make us feel rushed. The van was comfortable, the packed lunch from Fairlie Bakery was delicious, and the bag of extra snacks was more than adequate to keep hunger at bay. We were blessed with wonderful weather, and cloudless skies, so enjoyed our day immensely. Must do!
