Lake Kawaguchi Seasonal Tour - See the changes of Mount Fuji through the four seasons (lunch is free and at your own expense).

Soak in the hot springs at Lake Yamanaka and see Mount Fuji (bath fee's at your own expense).

This tour will visit Arakurayama Sengen Park (about an hour) from October 1st to April 25th next year. Will not go to Mount Fuji fifth station.

This tour will visit Mount Fuji 5th station (about 40 minutes) from April 26th to September 30th. Will not go to Arakurayama Sengen Park.

The night before your trip, you will receive an email regarding important information such as the phone number of the tour guide and the license plate number of the car. Please make sure that your email and mobile number are accessible.

The itinerary schedule may be adjusted due to weather, road conditions and other reasons, please understand.

One-day trip itinerary, it is not recommended to carry luggage, if you need to carry luggage, please register clearly when you book your order. 1 luggage is allowed per person. An extra 100 yuan per piece will be charged if you failed to make a note when booking your order or if it turns out more than 1 piece of luggage per guest.

A foldable stroller can be carried. Please inform customer service when placing an order to avoid being rejected.

During the trip, please carry your passport and valuables with you and keep them safe. If there is any loss, theft, damage, etc., you will be responsible for it yourself.

This itinerary is a fixed itinerary for carpooling. Customers who are also participating in this itinerary must abide by the stay time at each attraction and follow the driver's arrangements.If you want to flexibly adjust your itinerary, please refer to our chartered tour service.

Please note that if you fail to participate or cancel the trip due to personal problems, lateness, etc., no fees will be refunded.

If a person leaves the group on his own during the trip, the transaction will be deemed invalid and no fees will be refunded. And if this results in personal or property safety, you must bear the consequences yourself.

Traffic jams may occur on weekends and red days, so if you are worried about traffic jams, you can avoid joining the tour on weekends or red days.

The remaining hours are allotted for the travel time and lunch time.

Lake Yamanaka

Soak in the hot springs at Lake Yamanaka and see Mount Fuji (stay for 70 minutes). Lake Yamanaka is the only lake among the Fuji Five Lakes with a natural river outlet. If you choose a hot spring bath, we offer pick-up and drop-off services in the same car, but hot spring-related expenses are not covered. Yamanakako Hot Spring Red Fuji no Yu: You can soak in the hot spring while looking at Mount Fuji. Hot spring bathing fee: 1,120 yen (adult bath fee+ towel fee)/middle and high school students, 920 yen/elementary school students, 570 yen. It is recommended to visit Mount Fuji Hot Spring (you can see Mount Fuji in the lounge) when Red Fuji no Yu is closed every Tuesday. The cost of a bath is 1,600 yen (weekdays).

Unfortunately Mt Fuji 5th Station was closed. The problem is that they knew before getting on the bus and didn’t tell us until we were already on our way. The other stops were lackluster as well, basically tourist traps for shopping, which I had already done in Tokyo. Our sole purpose of the tour was to go up Mt Fuji, so very disappointing.

Before booking our trip to japan my partner and I read numerous reviews of tour guides that could speak 3 languages, our tour guide, more like an uber driver, only spoke Chinese the entirety of the tour. He was very nice, trying to accommodate, however he only spoke to the rest of the group because they were Chinese too, we felt forgotten. He was talking most of the time during the mini van rides, still we could not understand, although we could understand that a lot of the time it was casual conversation about other things other than the tour between the other guests. At the end of the tour, he apologised to us but we don’t know what he was sorry for. Most of the tour ended up being driving around, with barely any site seeing, out of the 10 hours of the tour, we spent 2.5 hours outside of the mini van. The 5th station, we spent 30 minutes, which was barely enough time to do anything other than eat a snack and look at a cloudy and non existent mount fuji. We were under the impression there would be some kind of walk/hike, and were unaware we were even at the 5th station. When we got into the mini van for the last time, we weren’t even made aware that we were heading home. Aside from this, the highlight would have to be the onsen, spent an hour there, which was lovely, but could’ve been more time considering we were told a certain time and our driver came late, so we sat outside waiting. Overall, I would recommend this tour to people of Chinese descent looking for a good chat.

Christy was so knowledgeable & fun. She made us feel so welcomed, also driver kept us safe. We mingled with other travelers which was pretty cool to share this experience with.
Awesome tour guide, but we missed out on the hot springs

This tour is great for getting awesome pictures of Mount Fuji. Our guide Christy spoke three languages and was incredible. Sweet, helpful, knowledgable, everything you'd want from a tour guide. My only complaint is about the hot springs that I didn't get to go to. I asked a Viator representative before booking if I would be allowed in the hot springs with my tattoos. They said that they contacted the tour company and they said I would be able to go, so I went ahead and booked. When we got there, I asked Christy and she was so sweet to call the hot springs to check for me, and they said I was not able to enter. Luckily, there was an alternate option to go on a boat tour on Lake Yamanaka, which was a surprising highlight of the tour. You get to ride on a very nice boat where you get great views of the mountain. It was a great photo opportunity, and once we got off, Christy was kind enough to offer to take photos of my mom and I with Mt. Fuji in the background. I am still disappointed that I didn't get to the hot springs, but the boat was a nice consolation. I tried to do my due diligence because I know how strict Japanese onsens can be about tattoos, and being given the wrong information by the tour operator and Viator representative was a big negative. One other thing to note, the cost of activities at each stop are not included in the price. Most of the stops require you to buy a ticket which usually cost around 1000 yen. Not a ton of money, but definitely something to consider. All in all, a great experience and would probably have been even better if I could have gone to the onsen. I wish I could rate Christy as a guide because she would get a 5 out of 5.
