Are you ready to discover the past and the present simultaneously? Nijmegen is one of the oldest cities and is full of Roman remains but has also become a very vibrant (student) city with trendy boutiques. Also, the most kilometers are walked here every year during the Nijmegen Four Days Marches. The best way to get to know this impressive city is during an audio guided tour, where the most beautiful sights are carefully listed for you. You will walk past the Waag, admire the Sint Stevens Church and wander through the Kronenburgerpark in search of the special Kruittoren. Will you go back to school at the Latin School? Or would you rather go in search of the mysterious story of Moenen? In the following points, you'll see just a few examples of the many attractions we will pass by.
The Sint Stevenskerk, also known as St. Stephen's Church, is a historic church located in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. It is known for its Gothic architecture and rich history, dating back to the 13th century, and it continues to serve as a place of worship and cultural significance in the city.

I used the Italian guide and it is not good at all. Apart from the information (pretty useless, it is something that I, as a tour guide, use sometimes just to pass the time…), I found the language used really bad, it sounded like a translation made by a non native speaker or by IA and the voice reading the texts was definitely computer generated. So no, I would not get it again.

I appreciated the landmarks but it would be nice if I didn’t need to be exactly on the spot to get it to register.

It was very worth it. We had a guided city tour to ourselves, at our pace and saw everything there was to see.

It was a wretched city tour with interesting information, the way was easy to see, if you have ever taken a wrong direction, this was quite easy to see, you should allow about 2- 2.5 h, depending on how long you are at the respective point or if you turn into another side street All in all highly recommended

Great app with insightful information. It rained so we only did half the trip, but worth doing :) it was easy to download and use the app

It's perfect for your own tour, I've done it with my sister. We took the duo option, so each one could have their own app on their mobile and we could go at our own pace, about €15 in total. I give it a 4/5 because I have lacked a bit of generic history of the city, it is all very well explained but being specific points tells you pieces of history related to each point and does not connect you, then I think an overview of the history of the city before starting the tour would be much better to contextualize everything they tell you in the points of interest. For the rest, it's great, it's very worth it!

Loved the self-paced tour. It’s a long walk up/down, back and forth, but worth it. Only reason I give it 4/5, is because I had multiple problems with server connections in many places that caused audio to stop playing - probably due to US phone. Many places triggered without being in sight but the ability to locate your landmark and start the narration over was nice. Some of the trails were a little sketchy due to overgrowth (around park and down some sketchy alleys and stairways), but never felt in danger. Would still recommend (and repeat) for an informative and inexpensive tour of Nijmegen! PS- add the Roman wall in the tunnel near The Bastei- found out about if afterwards and had to retrace quite a few steps..
