Mua Caves
After a 2-hour car journey from Hanoi, it's time for us to engage in some physical activity by ascending the magnificent natural Great Wall of Mua mountain, as well as exploring the Mua cave. This location offers the most optimal spot to admire the breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding area. Additionally, embarking on an early hike would allow us to avoid the oppressive heat and the large crowds that gather later in the day. As the day progresses, the heat intensifies and the site becomes heavily thronged by hundreds of thousands of tourists, all due to its viral fame. If you don’t like the touristy hike, alternatively, we have a 300-step, rugged hidden gem hike at the holy and secret mountain where you could feel the serenity of nature and breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains, forest, and surrounding villages.

5.00The trip was a lot of fun, especially the bike tour. Lunch was a highlight with plenty of great food and authentic Vietnamese dishes. The day included hiking up Hang Mua Mountain, taking a scenic boat ride along the river and through mountain caves, and stopping for a Vietnamese lunch with a good variety of dishes. After that, you hop on a bike (with the option to ride yourself or sit on the back) and cycle through the villages. It’s a great way to experience the natural beauty of Ninh Binh. Our tour guide, Q, was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor, which made the trip even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour, and if you can get Q as your guide, you won’t be disappointed.

5.00It was a great tour. Our tour guide Q was very friendly and knowledgeable and I appreciated that he explained a lot of history behind the temples. We did a lot yet the tour didn't feel rushed. The lunch was basically a buffet with many different dishes including goat, chicken, tofu etc. The motorbike ride felt safe and comfortable but also fun, I got to take some cool videos. We were also given sufficient time to take pictures and explore. For instance, we were at Hang Mua for 1 hour

5.00Excellent experience of visiting one of the most important sites of Vietnamese history and scenery. The tour had the perfect balance of different activities and historical explanations throughout the entirity of the day. Our tour guide, Hiu, was the perfect person to guide the tour, and provide us with good company and unique insights into vietnamese culture.

5.00We had an incredible time on this tour. Perfect pace for sightseeing, learning history, and enjoying local culture. Hiu is the BEST guide- excellent English, hilarious, so kind, and he took the best photos of us!!! We got an authentic experience and he took care of us all the way through- smooth as can be but full of so many rich activities. This was a highlight of the trip, and the perfect way to see the best of Ninh Binh! 🩷

5.00Great tour in a small group with fantastic tour guide Huy. Comfortable mini bus with an early pick up to beat the traffic out of Hanoi, and a stop for coffee on the way. 1st stop was to Hoa Lu citadel, then on to the Hang Mua 500 steps for great views. The next stop was Tam Coc for a relaxing boat ride through the stunning prehistoric looking valley. Lovely lunch at the Riverview homestay restaurant, then a fabulous vlscooter tour of the surrounding area. The whole trip was well organised and Huy gave us so much information and took some great photos for us. A tour we would definitely recommend.
