Mua Caves
After a 2-hour car journey from Hanoi, it's time for us to engage in some physical activity by ascending the magnificent natural Great Wall of Mua mountain, as well as exploring the Mua cave. This location offers the most optimal spot to admire the breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding area. Additionally, embarking on an early hike would allow us to avoid the oppressive heat and the large crowds that gather later in the day. As the day progresses, the heat intensifies and the site becomes heavily thronged by hundreds of thousands of tourists, all due to its viral fame. If you don’t like the touristy hike, alternatively, we have a 300-step, rugged hidden gem hike at the holy and secret mountain where you could feel the serenity of nature and breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains, forest, and surrounding villages.

5.00We had an incredible time on our Ninh Binh day tour from Hanoi—easily one of the highlights of our trip! From pickup to drop-off, everything was seamless, well-organized, and absolutely worth it. Our tour guide, An, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and did an amazing job helping us understand the history, culture, and local way of life. He even hiked up Mua Cave with us to make sure everyone was doing well, which we really appreciated. The itinerary was perfect: hiking to the stunning views at Mua Cave, taking a beautiful boat ride through the incredible scenery, enjoying a delicious lunch, and finishing the day by riding mopeds through the rice fields. Every part of the experience was memorable. We can’t recommend this tour enough. If you’re staying in Hanoi and looking for the perfect day trip, this Ninh Binh tour is an absolute must. He was attentative to our every need, he was curious and well-spoken, and gave us an insight into everyday life in Vietnam. He went out of his way to make sure we had the best trip possible! Couldn't ask for a better guide!

5.00We are a family of 5 with 3 young adult children This is an all day early bird tour to Ninh Binh that started in Hanoi where they picked us up at our hotel at 6:30 am. This was our 3rd tour in 3 days and our tour guide, Q, was by far the best guide. He is hilarious and a major history buff. He will entertain and educate you at the same time. I would highly recommend Q as a tour guide. The tour itself was a thorough tour of the Ninh Binh area as described in the itinerary. This tour company is well organized and prepared. Bring snacks and drinks when doing this tour on a hot day. Or you will also have plenty of opportunities to get snacks and drinks along the way.
