5.00I was not able to attend the tour due to winter storm, however I contacted Viator for my refund and the tour operator directly . Jared at the Empire State was extremely helpful and promptly approved my refund! Looking forward to visiting nyc again and taking my kids to the Empire State ! Thanks

Beautiful history depicted before climbing in the elevator, gets you into the atmosphere of those precarious years in which it was built. 5.00Wonderful building for everything he tuned in and still does today. The viewpoint is of the icons, with the devices to see from far that are so seen in the movies. It's outdoors, with bars for protection. Very cold in winter. You can see the whole manhatthan midtwon in full. The summit to the east, the edge to the west and the one to the south. Top of the rock north and a bit of central park. Before arriving at the viewpoint, he is heard through a room alluding to King Kong and his film and a brief introduction of how the building was constructed. The paradox is that not seeing the empire state is like the photos are missing something

5.00I’ve had a few beautiful, serendipitous encounters with some truly wonderful humans while I’ve been here — but this one? She’s something special. Friday night, I was having trouble booking my Empire State Building adventure, so I stopped in to see if someone could help. That’s when I met Merle Holloman. She patiently walked me through exactly where to go, and when I circled back toward the entrance from the ticket area, I stopped to thank her properly and ask for a photo. I laughed when she told me I sounded like Loretta Lynn, I gave her a hug, and off I went. Upstairs, I stayed awhile to listen to the incomparable and incredibly talented Tony DePaolo. While Tony and I were chatting, Merle came up to join us and said she had hoped I’d find him — and she was genuinely happy to see that I had. We talked a bit longer, and before leaving, I made sure the manager knew how wonderful everyone had been, especially Merle. Yesterday, I received the most beautiful message from her. It reminded me how the universe has a way of placing the right people in your path at exactly the right moment. Merle’s energy and vibe are pure goodness — the very best kind of human. So if you visit the ESB (not today — they’re closed because of the snow), tell her I sent you. 🥰

5.00Amazing views, well laid out, you can see from the inside at level 80 and outside on level 86. If you want you can pay extra and go to level 102 but the views from 86 were breathtaking. Would go again. We went in daylight so might do a night time experience next time

5.00Visiting the Empire State Building was one of those experiences that truly lives up to its reputation. I went with my grandpa and my mom, and sharing this iconic moment together made it even more meaningful. It felt less like a tourist stop and more like being part of history. From the moment you enter, there’s a sense of significance that’s hard to describe. Knowing how much the Empire State Building represents—not just to New York, but to the world—adds a special weight to the experience. The exhibits are well done and help build anticipation as you make your way up. Reaching the observation deck was unforgettable. The views are absolutely breathtaking, stretching endlessly in every direction. Seeing New York City from above, with its skyline, rivers, and neighborhoods all coming together, was emotional in the best way. As the sunset approached, the city slowly transformed, with warm light fading into a sea of lights that felt almost unreal. Watching that transition with my mom and grandpa beside me is a memory I’ll always treasure. What made the visit especially enjoyable was how accessible and smooth the experience felt for all of us. Despite being such a famous landmark, everything was organized and easy to navigate, which made it comfortable for different generations to enjoy together. The Empire State Building isn’t just a viewpoint—it’s a moment. It captures the spirit, scale, and beauty of New York City in a way few places can. It’s easy to see why it’s considered a Traveler Favorite, and it’s an experience I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city, whether for the first time or the tenth.
