Are you ready to soar over waterfalls, zoom through pristine native forests, and be enlightened through a hands-on cultural and ecological experience in Okere Falls, Rotorua? If so, then Rotorua Ziplines has you covered. Suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities, a network of ziplines, swing bridges, and boardwalks will have you in awe for 2.5 hours as you fly, walk and gaze at the stunning taiao (Environment) that is Ōkere.
Born through an intimate connection with the Ōkere Awa (Kaituna River), this joint venture between Ngāti Hinerangi and Rotorua Rafting’s Ōkere Falls born and bred, Sam Sutton, has been created to showcase its mauri (spirit) and importance with Aotearoa’s soon to be premier zipline experience.
Ensuring that our taiao is enhanced through the very operation will have every guest leaving a tree in their name as Rotorua Ziplines reforestation project plant its way towards 60,000 native trees by the end of 2025 to see Ōkere Falls thrive for generations to come.

Risk Disclosure Ziplining is an adventure sport, and while Rotorua Zipline follows the highest safety standards under NZ’s Adventure Activity Regulations, there are inherent risks involved. 5.00An amazing experience and the guides were so fabulous even though I was really nervous. They take photos for you on their phones and you get them included in the price the next day via google drive. Loved it, highly recommend.

5.00What an amazing experience for our family! Josh and Rafa welcomed us so warmly and guided us through the day with so much enthusiasm for nature and the adventure of ziplining. We learned so many new things, and the whole vibe was super positive and fun. Even though I’m afraid of heights and was a bit nervous, the two of them handled it with so much calm and experience that we felt 100% safe every single moment. We’d honestly recommend this experience with Zipline Rotorua to absolutely everyone.

5.00An amazing adventure for showing a bit of NZ to our Aussie friends. A thrill to Zipline over rapids and treetops, enjoy some insight to conservation, pest control and how the area is being looked after. The support with the 2 guides were phenomenal, top marks in safety, and giving us the best experience. 💯 will be back and will tell friends to go. Just amazing 😍

5.00Fabulous experience - felt really safe, everything explained clearly, ziplines were amazing, and the swing bridge tested my nerves! Great to learn about the local trees and birds on the way round. Rafa and Sharpie were great guides, and you really felt they cared about the local environment too. Would highly recommend.

5.00Had such a groovy time for my wife's Birthday! Ethan and Lex our guides were awesome throughout! The weather was perfect, the river was PUMPING and the nature engulfed us as we floated through the canopy. All in all a great time! Cheers team!
