Are you ready to soar over waterfalls, zoom through pristine native forests, and be enlightened through a hands-on cultural and ecological experience in Okere Falls, Rotorua? If so, then Rotorua Ziplines has you covered. Suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities, a network of ziplines, swing bridges, and boardwalks will have you in awe for 2.5 hours as you fly, walk and gaze at the stunning taiao (Environment) that is Ōkere.

Born through an intimate connection with the Ōkere Awa (Kaituna River), this joint venture between Ngāti Hinerangi and Rotorua Rafting’s Ōkere Falls born and bred, Sam Sutton, has been created to showcase its mauri (spirit) and importance with Aotearoa’s soon to be premier zipline experience.

Ensuring that our taiao is enhanced through the very operation will have every guest leaving a tree in their name as Rotorua Ziplines reforestation project plant its way towards 60,000 native trees by the end of 2025 to see Ōkere Falls thrive for generations to come.

What an amazing experience for our family! Josh and Rafa welcomed us so warmly and guided us through the day with so much enthusiasm for nature and the adventure of ziplining. We learned so many new things, and the whole vibe was super positive and fun. Even though I’m afraid of heights and was a bit nervous, the two of them handled it with so much calm and experience that we felt 100% safe every single moment. We’d honestly recommend this experience with Zipline Rotorua to absolutely everyone.

An amazing adventure for showing a bit of NZ to our Aussie friends. A thrill to Zipline over rapids and treetops, enjoy some insight to conservation, pest control and how the area is being looked after. The support with the 2 guides were phenomenal, top marks in safety, and giving us the best experience. 💯 will be back and will tell friends to go. Just amazing 😍

Fabulous experience - felt really safe, everything explained clearly, ziplines were amazing, and the swing bridge tested my nerves! Great to learn about the local trees and birds on the way round. Rafa and Sharpie were great guides, and you really felt they cared about the local environment too. Would highly recommend.

Had such a groovy time for my wife's Birthday! Ethan and Lex our guides were awesome throughout! The weather was perfect, the river was PUMPING and the nature engulfed us as we floated through the canopy. All in all a great time! Cheers team!

I must admit, I was scared to do this, but Jonny and Rafa were great, and made me feel safe. In the end I loved it and was glad to do it with the family, as it was a great bonding experience. We also really liked the local info that they gave us, the cup of local tea, and the fact that they plant a tree for every Zipline visitor

If we could give this Zip line experience 10 out of 5 , we would!! Everything was an absolute joy! The zip lines through the pristine forest, over stunning waterfalls was breathtaking! The birdlife was prolific , and the environment was beautifully looked after by the company. Lex and Alina were extremely professional, but still made it fun. We would definitely do this tour again😀

The team were amazing and very helpful. Did the Zip line and it was definitely an experience, will definitely come back and do the river rafting. Would recommend this to anyone, it’s an experience!!

Had a great afternoon with Ethan, Jonny & Johnny. An amazing experience with some beautiful scenery. The guys kept us entertained as we went sailing through the trees. A must do.
