What To Expect
【Sagari-bana Tour】 Sagari-bana is a rare summer flower found only in parts of Japan’s southwest islands. Known as the “one-night flower,” it blooms at night and falls by dawn—a fleeting, magical sight. Important Information (Please Read Carefully) Punctuality & Contact: Please arrive on time. If you are late without notice, your booking will be canceled and a fee will apply. If delayed, contact us in advance. Pre-Tour Confirmation: We will confirm the meeting time and place by the day before. Provide a contactable phone number or email in Japan. If you don’t hear from us by 6:00 PM the day before, contact us via your ticket. Participation Requirements: Ages 3–65 only. For safety reasons, the following cannot join: Pregnant guests Children 0–2 Those with medical conditions Weather & Tour Operation: Tours run in light rain. If unsafe, we may cancel. Preparation: Use the restroom beforehand (none on-site). Participation under the influence of alcohol is not allowed. Timing: Meeting/return times vary with season and conditions. Language: Tours are in Japanese or English. Depending on reservations, it may be Japanese only.

5.00This tour was amazing. The Sagaribana flowers only bloom at night. They looked so beautiful in the dark. The vanilla scent was sweet and relaxing. Our guide was very helpful and showed us the best spots. Highly recommended for a summer trip!

5.00I joined this tour in July, and it was hands down one of the highlights of my trip to Ishigaki! Sagaribana flowers only bloom for a single night, and witnessing this rare phenomenon was absolutely breathtaking. The tour was well-organized. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke good English. They led us safely through the nighttime mangrove forest and helped us find the best spots to see the blossoms. The sweet, vanilla-like fragrance filled the air, and the reflection of the pink and white flowers on the water was a dream for photography. It felt like stepping into an enchanted forest. If you are visiting Ishigaki between June and August, do not miss this unique eco-tour. Be sure to bring insect repellent!
