Take a look behind the scenes and unravel the secret of the preparation of the traditionally hand-made snacks. Before the actual workshop begins, you'll get an insight into the company's history and its values. The shop is located directly next to the famous Naschmarkt and is characterized by a workshop-like atmosphere. After realizing that making delicious wafers is much more than just operating the self-restored "waffle maker", you'll prepare your own sweet or savory wafers. The experienced master will personally guide you in the preparation of the snacks. So that you do not leave the workshop empty, you can of course take your own wafers with you and enjoy them at home. I really enjoyed my class as the only participant. I learned about the history, process and tried my hand at producing a few. The host was very knowledgeable and easy to chat with. Had delicious samples to enjoy in my hotel later.

It is a very small shop, easy to find on Right Wienzeile. The owner was friendly and eager to leave a nice impression. It was very hot outside and inside five wafer machines were heated to 154 degrees. Luckily, the owner has a fan and a cooling system in the shop, so the whole thing was bearable. You can't be afraid of claustrophobia when you visit this store. We were 6 in business with the owner. Half would be better. The whole screening didn't last long, barely more than half an hour. You couldn't do much yourself, but the little I could do myself was fun. Because 2 tourists from Sweden did not speak German, the performance was held in bumpy English. Although I speak English, I would prefer German and English groups to be separate. So I could hardly talk to the owner because it was too loud inside and he was torn between two languages. In the end we got a bag with small wafers to take away, which I found very likable. I recommend this visit, but better without children.

Really fun authentic experience in a tiny shop. You get to make sweet wafers and cheese wafers as well as learn about the history. The man who led the course was great and really knowledgable.

The host was friendly and knowledgeable but the place of business was not comfortable. It was cluttered and messy and probably wood fail the cafe inspection. There was barely room for two small kids to make waffles. It was very hot in the middle of the day, with just a door for fresh air. Couldn’t enjoy ourselves and left early.

The shop was small and cozy, but it was very interesting experience, learned a lot! And we could snack on the wafers we made.
