5.00Maria was awesome! This was my second Askos tour, the first was Herculaenum with another guide, and this one was as interesting and informative as the other. It’s apparent this company provides guides that are professional and very knowledgable. The 2 hours flew by and Maria provided so many interesting tidbits of information you would never have known otherwise. I highly recommend Askos. And than you Maria for a great day!

5.00We drove down from Positano just for this tour, it did not disappoint. It was the best tour so far during our first 11 days in Italy. Maria was clear, knowledgeable, informative and friendly. The site itself is fascinating but the visit is so much better when someone can explain the history, changing cultures and building methods My wife struggles with arthritis and there were a number of places where she could sit during the tour - you do walk the entire 2 hours. The pace was just right - we were not rushed at any stop and asked plenty of questions. Much of the tour is on uneven, rocky ground so wear very comfortable sneakers. We both highly recommend that you book this tour if you are going to paestum

5.00After our visit to Pompeii with Asoka we also visited Paestrum with the same operator. Mario was very knowledgeable and went out of his way describing everything that is currently known about this old Greek town. We can trully recommend this tour.

5.00The guide was excellent—very knowledgeable. The Greek ruins were spectacular—and they let you walk in them and get some great pictures. The tour included a ticket for the ruin museum which housed some beautiful artifacts. Didn’t realize Paestum had such an extensive Greek colony site. Definitely worth coming here.

5.00Our guide Mario took us on a two hour tour of the site of Paestum. He was the best guide we had on this recent trip to Europe with deep knowledge and enthusiasm of his topic. He could answer every question and also had a sense of humour. I would thoroughly recommend you take this tour and hopefully Mario will be your guide.

5.00Mario was a fantastic guide - the best we have had in 8 weeks of travelling. He could answer every question with a wealth of knowledge. Mario has a passion for the archaeology, the Paestum park and went over the allotted time reflecting this passion. I could not recommend any one more highly.

5.00The visit with the guide Anna was very interesting. There were only four of us and we enjoyed the explanation of the beautiful temples and the archaeological museum, where we admired the tomb of the Diver. The weather assisted us: lots of wind but lots of sun. We took great pictures.

5.00We had a great guide —Mario. So much clear and interesting information. The temples were amazing, especially the one they think was Neptune’s Temple. Although there was no way to cover it all, we felt we got a cohesive story of the site’s development. Highly recommend this tour
