5.00We had a wonderful day in Phuket. Our vehicle was a luxury minicab for 10 people but there were just 2 of us on the tour. Our driver was Manod, he was a great driver and very responsive. There was a slight mix up with our pickup point, there are more than 2 ports that cruise ships dock at. We booked our excursion because it had "For cruise ship passengers" in the title. The owner called me about 90 minutes before we were due to be picked up and advised that the pickup was at the other port so make sure you know which port you are arriving at. I have still given the excursion 5 stars because the owner quickly sorted it out, she called the driver and asked him to drive the 40 minutes over to our port and pick us up from there so the customer service was excellent, thankyou to the operator. We had to get to the dock by water shuttle and our driver arrived at the exact same moment we did at the meeting point. We didn't get to go into the Big Buddha centre due to a landslide but we got a side on photo which was good. I think there needs to be a note in the description of this excursion noting that there is Phuket deep water port and also Patong port which cruise ships use when arriving in Phuket and you need to know which one prior to booking.
