  Ted our guide was awesome! It was a long car ride, but Ted did a great job of sharing expectations, keeping us entertained with anecdotes and facts, and maintaining the pace. Pick up was prompt and the van was very comfortable. I went solo but it was a great group and not awkward. The views both along the car route and on the cruise were picturesque and breathtaking. It was a sunny warm day that still offered beautiful waterfalls although sadly the rare penguins were in hiding. 100% recommend.

  An incredible experience from start to finish. The bus ride to Milford Sound was comfortable with lots of stops to see the beautiful scenery. Our guide, Michael, was very knowledgeable about the local area, its flora and fauna, and kept us entertained for the whole drive. The cruise was great - lovely staff on the boat and we saw tiny penguins and some sleeping seals, as well as the incredible scenery. The plane ride back was the highlight for me - our pilot, Will, made everyone feel relaxed and gave us the most magical aerial tour of the mountain tops and lake Wakatipu. An experience not to be missed.

  90% was a great experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the smaller group setting and Greg was the man. If you’re down to the last guide, definitely keep him. His knowledge of NZ terrain and history made the experience memorable. Greg had a great mix of banter and brilliance. At the end of the trip I felt like I was saying bye to friends and not just random strangers. The only bad thing ( 10%) has nothing to do with Kiwi Experience. The Mitreak boat company was a bit too small, as a photographer it was hard to get shots and videos to capture the sound.
