Thanks to its ancient history, the magic of Ortigia island and the charm of its coast, Syracuse is one of the most popular destinations in Sicily.
Our driver will pick you up from your accommodation at your most preferred time and drive you to the beautiful city of Syracuse. The first stop will be at the Neapolis, the archeological area of the city. Here you will have free time to admire the roman amphitheater and the impressive and solemn Greek Theatre, the biggest in the island and one of the biggest in the world, entirely carved into the rock. You can also visit the Ear of Dionysius, an artificial cave placed right under the Theatre. It is called this way for its ear shape and also for its acoustic properties.
Afterwards, the driver will drop you off in Ortigia Island, the ancient historical centre of Syracuse. Here you will have free time to stroll in the characteristic streets and see the most important monuments such as Aretusa Fontain, the Cathedral and Maniace castle.

Parco Archeologico della Neapolis
The first stop will be at the archeological park of Neapolis. a Unesco World Heritage. Here it's possible to see the most important remains of the ancient Greek and Roman town. The Greek theater, the Roman amphitheater, the ancient stone quarries, the ear of Dionysus, and the altar of Hieron, are just some of the monuments found within this large green area

5.00We had an absolutely wonderful tour from Taormina to Syracuse and Ortigia, and it was truly the highlight of our trip. Our driver, Costa, was simply exceptional. His expert guidance and fluent English brought the city to life as he pointed out the most iconic landmarks. Not only did he enrich our knowledge with his deep insight, but he also recommended fantastic places to eat that we would have never found on our own. Thanks to his knowledge and warm personality, my wife and I had an absolutely splendid day. We are so happy we chose this company, especially because we found such a skilled driver. It’s a rare gem, and it made our day so entertaining. We wholeheartedly recommend this tour to everyone!

5.00I highly recommend this private transport service from Taormina to Siracusa and Ortigia with drop-off in Catania! Our driver, Costa, was extremely personable and knowlegeable about the area, and while he didn't persona;ly escort us to the stops, he made recommendations for places to visit and things to do in both Siracusa and Ortigia. His English is excellent and he was an engaging communicator. We felt very confident in him and had a lovely and memorable day thanks to his expertise.

A special compliment goes to our guide Maria Luisa: her passion, deep knowledge, and friendly manner made the visit to the Archaeological Park and Ortigia a truly memorable experience. We learned a great deal and enjoyed the atmosphere. The driver broucht us there and back safely, reliably, and with great comfort. 5.00We had a great experience with Taormina Transfer. Our driver Costa was incredibly helpful, informative and kind. We had a great time in Noto, Neapolis and Siracusa. Costa also assisted when we issues at our accommodation. We will definitely use Taormina Transfer again.
