  What a phenomenon Local Taste is!! I go to places I don't know and I taste the tastiest dishes. It may sound crazy, but I really enjoy going out with my best buddy, my dog Louis. For example, Blue Dog, Gastro Bistro, Ja Breda!, Brandpunt (Breda), Korenmolen De Hoop (Bavel) and De Swaen (Prinsenbeek) can all be visited with a dog. Louis and I were welcomed everywhere with open arms and he was the first to be served with a bowl of water. Hugs and strokes were common. I also went to Ja Breda, but then I was alone for a while and was relaxed. And then the snacks; EXCELLENT! The establishments are fully informed and know exactly what to offer you. The booklet also describes what you get, so you can easily adjust your drink accordingly. Louis and I were welcomed with open arms and everyone is equally friendly. Blue Dog: the best piece of stew you will ever taste. Small but nice and you will definitely want more of this. Nice atmosphere with all kinds of beautiful posters of dogs on the wall. Nice staff too, Dion is great! Gastro Bistro: a delicious salmon tartare. Unfortunately, the day was not well chosen with the arrival of Sinterklaas and rain. So it's quite busy inside with children. The terrace is one of the most beautiful in Breda.. De Swaen in Prinsenbeek: started on the terrace and ended inside in the warmth. The Local Taste was so delicious that I stuck around for dinner. And the atmosphere inside was excellent, everyone inside was equally nice and sweet and a very different audience. I will definitely avoid going here again due to the fact that it is actually only within walking distance of my house. Yes Breda! On the Grote Markt in the city while you are shopping, it is of course great to have a nice tea at Ja Breda with an excellent Local Taste in the form of 3 delicious sweet treats. Everything freshly made by themselves and yes, this sugar bomb is just a little pampering moment for yourself. Focal point in Breda if you've never been there; go right away! What a super relaxed atmosphere. You can also work there and there is also a studio with some small independent entrepreneurs who offer their things there. The Local Taste is perhaps a little less special with a muffin with whipped cream, which is delicious, but it is mainly the experience you gain by sitting in Brandpunt and looking around at what they have to offer. Korenmolen de Joop in Bavel, the location is simply great in a mill for a Bavel get-together. Perhaps the most extensive Local Taste I have tasted so far. Tip: take a beer with it, it fits perfectly. Louis was the star of the day and he also got to know the little horse outside. And then of course I also have to put Local Taste itself in the spotlight. Thom, you have arranged it fantastically. And if you send new coins to someone whose dog has eaten your Local Taste coins twice, then you are simply a hero. All in all, I still have a few coins left and I will definitely discover some nice restaurants if you have not yet bought a booklet with these coins and you are reading this review; BUY IT! For yourself or for someone else, it would also be a fantastic gift for your shoe or under the Christmas tree.
