We had a wonderful 10-day trip through Glencoe, the Isle of Skye, Torridon and Inverness with Emma as our private guide. Travelling with grandparents, parents and kids, all with different interests, hiking abilities and dietary requirements, could have been challenging, but Emma made it effortless. She thoughtfully tailored the itinerary around the weather and ensured everyone could find something they enjoyed at meal stops. Whether answering our kids’ endless questions, sharing local knowledge, or patiently accommodating different hiking paces, she never made anyone feel rushed. Emma was also an excellent driver, confidently navigating even the more challenging Highland roads. She regularly went above and beyond, even calling our hotel in Torridon to secure a dinner reservation when we were unable to do so ourselves. And when the Scottish weather lived up to its reputation, she was kind enough to share her umbrella! Emma’s patience, professionalism and genuine care made our trip truly memorable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and would happily travel with her again.
