  The views were amazing. And the photos turn out amazing. Abdul was the perfect host. Super friendly and you can tell he cares for the animals and everyone. I went in with 0 experience and the whole team was super patient with me. Ngl I am still nervous of getting thrown off the horses cause I didn’t wanna piss them off and that was probably why the first horse I tried wasn’t cooperating with me. But overall this was an amazing experience. Highly recommended as something to do in Jeddah. If he offers to send you a driver definitely take that. The location is just outside Jeddah and could be hard for an Uber driver to find. Abdul will work with you to get you here and provide an amazing experience.

  Once booked I never received any communication other than the payment receipt. The day before my trip I called Viator and asked about what time to meet. They told me Hooves was open 4am-10pm to go anytime. I took an Uber to address, in the morning around 8am. The address took us to the middle of nowhere. I called the guide, and he gave the driver better directions to the stable. Once I got there, he said the tour wasn't until evening and I told him that was not what I was told. He had a non-English guide available to take me out which was appreciated. However, I had no transportation back out if my Uber driver left. I had to pay extra to ask him to wait. The whole experience was stressful and lacked communication. We walked thru piles of trash to get to the "sea side" It wasn't a good experience. The location is far away from town and unless you are renting a car expect to pay a lot of money to figure out how to travel there and back. Better communication on transportation and start time of excursion would be helpful to let others know in advance. I had to pay $160 USD just for transportation there and back on top of the ticket price. Keep that in mind when booking.

  Great experience riding horseback on the beach at sunset. The Hooves Stud team were friendly and welcoming to their stables. Our guide Anas was very helpful and provided great hospitality and a unique adventure. Highly recommend!

  I really liked the landscape and being able to swim with the horses. Very good value for money our outing lasted almost 2 hours

  The best experience I had in Saudi. The instructors nice and professional. The horses friendly, and the beach ride with the sunset was breathtaking. Fellas, if you are looking for a romantic activity, put this on top of the list, you won’t regret it. Shout out to Abdul for showing us an unforgettable experience.

• Sunset and beach ride

  It was a very memorable riding experience on horses that were generally well-behaved. We met our guide and his brother at the stable and once acquainted with the horses rode to the sea and back with them too. There was a truck following us as a back up. All in all it was about two hours. Don’t expect luxury but genuine people who want you to enjoy the ride. The horses were English and Arabic bred. We are not experienced riders but managed ok with the guide looking out for us and offering tips. I’m sure they would have accommodated us if we had wanted to trot or canter but we were happy at a walk. If you want any specialist equipment eg hats, bring it with you. I’d recommend it as a way to get away from the city and have an authentic experience which local people and horses!

  Muhannad picked us up directly from our hotel and was very polite and knowledgeable, recommending many things to do in the area. We went straight to the beach and rode two beautiful horses in front of the Arabian sunset. Neither of us had ridden a horse for several years so we were both a bit nervous but we felt we were in safe hands. It was good for both a less experienced rider like me who was able to ride gently up the beach and in the sea, and also for my wife who is more experienced and was able to canter up and down the beach. We were even allowed to ride the horse back to the stables at the end of the night. All in all it was a great experience and one we will fondly remember!
