What To Expect
Brusje
Brusje is a traditional village on Hvar Island, known for its stone houses, lavender fields, and beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea. Visitors can stop at a local family farm to experience authentic island life and, for an additional fee, sample homemade olive oil and locally produced honey.
Stari Grad
*Optional(longer option, dificulty-hard) Stari Grad, located on the northern coast of Hvar Island, is one of Europe's oldest towns, founded by ancient Greeks in 384 BC. This historic town is celebrated for its well-preserved architecture, including the Renaissance-era Tvrdalj Castle, the fortified summer residence of poet Petar Hektorović . The town's layout reflects its ancient origins, with narrow stone-paved streets and traditional buildings. Adjacent to the town lies the Stari Grad Plain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, showcasing ancient Greek agricultural practices that remain in use today . Visitors can also explore the Church of St. Stephen, a baroque-style basilica built in the early 17th century on the site of an earlier cathedral .

5.00The staff at Antonio Rent were very helpful in getting us kitted out and showing us how to use the pre loaded google map route for out ride. We chose to do the longer 56km ride as we are experienced riders which did include a 9km climb, but the E-bikes made easy work of this. We rode to the old town the other side of the island and were rewarded with spectacular views and vistas. We would highly recommend this experience.

5.00The rental place was easy to find and the staff were very helpful. We loaded a route on our phone they provided and set off. As experienced bikers we chose the longer route which took us about five hours with some stops. The scenery was stunning as the route took us over a mountain to the other side of the island and back. Relatively easy ride with the e-bikes. We would highly recommend this experience.

5.00My wife and I, along with another couple we were traveling with, rented e-bikes from Antonio Rents in Hvar in late May 2026. The entire experience was positive from start to finish. The staff were very friendly and professional. The brief orientation was very helpful and they provided clear instructions on how to use the bike. They walked us through the suggested route, including an overview of the map and sites of interest. The views were extraordinary and we stopped in Milna for drinks overlooking the pretty beach. Excellent experience and we would highly recommend doing this during your visit to Hvar.

5.00Absolutely loved this day trip. The bikes were good. The scenery was stunning. Quiet roads . Felt safe all along the way although did the shorter ride and didn’t go to Stari Grad which I think may have been a bit busier. Stopped for lunch and a coupe of hours on the beach for a swim. Highly recommend it. Easy to find the bike hire. Antonio’s, booked directly. Helpful. Friendly , Google maps provided, bikes have phone clamps for the handle bars so you can see map. Just lovely

5.00Great fun, E-Bikes are a god send for climbing the mountain. especially when also fighting with strong wind. The Google map is a little bit glitchy and has a tendency to cut out and send you in the wrong direction. Would have been great to have a paper version of alll the stops and directions to help with this. Overall though, so glad we did this as it’s the best way to see Hvar!
