After pickup from your downtown or French Quarter hotel by air-conditioned van, your architecture tour begins in the French Quarter, where you'll learn about the history and design styles of the old Creole city of New Orleans. 5.00We did this excursion first, upon arriving in NOLA, we all agreed the best choice, by far, giving us a lay of the land, spots we would go back to, and visit. Muriel, our guide, was very knowledgeable, providing state and city history, the cemeteries and how they are utilized, architecture, pre- and post-Katrina; we were amazed at the size and the role Lake Pontchartrain played in the hurricane. We hit Cafe Du mode for beignets and a visit! The bus has AC, comfortable, with large viewing windows, comfortable ride. Our guide Muriel's French accent (easy to understand) topped off an amazing outing. Thank you to Isabelle for your top-notch customer service.

5.00If you are taking a private tour during Mardis gras and staying in a hotel in The box of the parade zone then you will need to closely coordinate times and locations for pick up and drop off and some parts of the tour will have to be customized to avoid the traffic and the road closures.
