08:30: We pick you up from your hotel departure for Halong Bay by Car / Van depend on size of group by the Express Way. This is one of the best express ways in the North of Vietnam , you will enjoy the beautiful of countryside with the ricefields , rivers , fruit gardens and biggest port named HaiPhong on the way. It takes you about 2 hours and 30 minutes to arrive Tuanchau Marina.

5.00Tour guide, Hai, was excellent for the entire tour. He paid close attention to our questions and needs. The experience of this trip was top notch. I would recommend to all, to request Hai for your guide. The private tour was worth everything. Heaven Cave should be on everyone’s bucket list.

5.00Hai was a superior tour guide. The food was delicious and plentiful. Kudos to the chef. Halong bay was breathtaking and an experience of a life time. Heaven cave was the most beautiful cave I’ve ever seen. Loved the boat trip to the private Lagoon and learning the history of the fishing people.

5.00Robert was a wonderful and caring tour guide who had excellent English and shared a lot of knowledge with us about Halong Bay! The boat staff were also lovely and put on a beautiful and delicious seafood feast for lunch. We loved visiting the cave on this tour. I’d recommend bringing your own cold water and plenty of it as all drinks need to be purchased on the tour. Overall it was a great tour and nice to do it privately with just our family and at our own pace.

5.00Mandatory tour in Hanoi. Our guide Hai (or Robert) was amazing. Breathtaking photos... no wonder it is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site and also one of the 7 new wonders of the world. I definitely recommend kayaking as the best option but if you have physical problems do not fail to go and take the typical boat ride with a villager.

5.00Amazing tour UNESCO officially recognized the Ha Long Bay in Vietnam as a new World Natural Heritage site. Now we know why… We were lucky to have a guide (Hai or Robert) who was a fantastic guide, who helped us plan our short time well, avoid the heat and turn these days into a memory forever. 5.00The trip was planned perfectly by Robert from start to finish. I found the booking by email very easy and all questions were answered thoroughly. I was careful to pick a safe company as we were travelling with our young children and we could not be happier. Robert also recommended that we leave early to beat the rush on our one day Halong bay trip and it was a brilliant idea. We had the cave all to ourselves! We also beat the crowds at the other sites too. I should also mention that Robert swapped the day of the trip with no fuss when we had a family emergency.

5.00We originally were booked with a group tour which is about 1/3 the price for the family. All of a sudden they tried shaking us down for $10 extra dollars 24 hours prior. I was told never book with someone asking for more money. Because it will never stop. So I pulled the cord and paid triple for a private tour. You only live once and it will probably be the only time we ever visit Halong Bay Vietnam. So next thing we know we are in a 48 seater boat and we have the whole boat to ourselves. Our daughter got to drive the boat, we got to go to private caves where the big tours do not go and kayaking in a Lagoon. It was very relaxing atmosphere. They even had a chef on board and made us our own personal meal. If your going to experience due it right and book a private tour.

5.00Ha Long Bay is simply breathtaking. The complex natural beauty is a gift that keeps on giving. The beauty of the islands as seen from the sea are only half of the story as the caves hidden beneath the surface are as glorious. Choosing to have a private tour gave us the benefit of a direct journey from Hà Nội to the marina in Ha Long. Collected from our hotel and taken straight back gave us a later start and an earlier finish that a longer tour plus day spent with Robert as our excellent guide - knowledgeable, helpful and really good fun. The cruise on the Dragonfly took us through the amazing scenery and meant that we feasted on a glorious lunch. We ended the day with our heads, bellies and hearts full.
