The Khor Virap meaning "deep dungeon" is an Armenian monastery located in the Ararat plain in Armenia, near the closed border with Turkey.The monastery was host to a theological seminary and was the residence of Armenian Catholicos.

5.00This was an amazing day tour and I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to travel around Armenia in a private tour. We arrived in Khor Virap and Noravank before any buses so we had both places to ourselves. Tatev requires a few more hours of driving but is 100% worth it, especially to see more parts of the country. Sergey spoke great English and shared his knowledge of Armenia and the sites with us, along with being a safe driver on the mountain roads. Don't hesitate to book this activity! Thanks Sergey!

5.00Great trip from Yerevan if you have limited time and you want to see a lot of sights. Levon was a fantastic driver/guide/photographer. Defo recommend doing as a private tour rather than a long group tour

Our private tour to Khor Virap, Areni, Noravank, Shaki, and Tatev was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Our tour guide and driver, Levon, was absolutely incredible. From the moment he picked us up, we felt so welcomed and comfortable. His knowledge of the sites was fantastic, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day possible. He's not just a guide—he's a friend who made our day happy and special. We truly appreciate all of his effort. 5.00Excellent tour to some of the most famous places in Armenia. Driver was knowledgeable and friendly. Punctual and polite. The sights were worth seeing and instagrammable. Could not recommend this trip more.

5.00It was great experience with Memory makers travel. They have take care us like a family members. Their planning and coordination at it's best. Highly recommended. This trip was very long journey but very comfortable. Bought natural honey, fruits on the way. Shaki falls and wings of Tatev is most memorable and Armenia's treasure.
