On this full-day tour, you’ll get to learn about the history and natural attractions of this area of Georgia. You’ll go to Uplistsikhe, a cave town and an important centre in the Hellenistic and late Antique periods. You’ll get to walk through the town with your guide and see many of the ancient buildings like the rock-carved theatre and pagan and Christian places of worship.

Uplistsiche Cave Town

Uplistsikhe is an antique rock-hewn town in eastern Georgia. It was built on a left bank of the Mtkvari River, contains multiple structures dating from the Early Iron Age to the Late Middle Ages, and is notable for the unique mixture of various rock-cut cultures from Anatolia and Iran coexistence of pagan and Christian architecture.

Nugo never say no for anything we ask. He always goes extra mile to make it special. We treated us like a family. Highly recommend him if you are travelling to Georgia and if you want to know local favourite spots.

Our hosts were the best!!! They showed us around and took very good care of us!!! Played the music we liked and their car was clean and comfortable!! Friendly and always helpful! The drive didn’t feel long and they made sure to check that we didn’t need anything on the way to and back! They even helped us get a PCR test!

Trip way too easy and way too fun for us, humble guy with too much knowledge about everything related to the places we visited and roaf short cuts as well to avoid the traffic 🤣😂
