  Jason was awesome. We didn’t realize when we booked it that this was literally a private/personal tour. It was just myself, my wife and Jason. Within 10 minutes of departure, he had us in front of bison and a bear came running down the hill. Wow!!!

• Misleading Listing and Last-Minute Cancellation – Ruined Our Trip

  I booked this Yellowstone tour 8 days in advance as a birthday present for my daughter. The listing clearly stated “Private Day Trip from Bozeman, Montana”, which was the only reason I chose it. I even entered our Bozeman hotel as the pickup location when booking. ***I attached a screenshot of the original listing that said “Private Day Trip from Bozeman, Montana.” Three days before the tour, they called and asked to reschedule due to overbooking. I was disappointed since the tour was supposed to be on my daughter’s birthday, but I agreed and moved it to two days later. Then, shockingly, the night before the rescheduled tour, a staff member called to inform me that they don’t pick up from Bozeman—I would have to drive to Gardiner or cancel. When I reminded her that the listing clearly advertised Bozeman pickup, she admitted they were “trying to fix the listing.” (It was finally updated after this happened.) Their excuse was that Bozeman is too far from Yellowstone. I asked if they could still honor what was advertised, especially since I don’t have a car, and they simply said, “Sorry, can not.” This was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The tour was meant to be a special birthday gift. My daughter was so excited. We had traveled all the way from Hawaii, and visiting Yellowstone was the main reason we chose Montana. I searched everywhere for an alternative tour from Bozeman, but everything was fully booked on our last available day. There was nothing we could do. I just wish they had contacted me immediately after I booked—not the night before. Because I had already rescheduled for them to the very end of our trip, we had only one day left in Montana. If they had been honest from the beginning, we could’ve made other plans. Instead, the highlight of our trip was canceled, and our special day was ruined. This was a huge disappointment. I hope Viator takes responsibility for ensuring their listings are accurate and updated promptly. Travelers—especially families planning for special occasions—shouldn’t be misled like this.

  This was our first trip to Yellowstone and want to see everything. I booked the tour without knowing what to expect. I am so glad I did. Jason was amazing and very knowledgeable and made sure we had the full Yellowstone experience. He was friendly and very personable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Don’t hesitate! Booked Jason as your tour guide.

  Walking shoes recommended. What an amazing day we had with Jason! He is so knowledgeable and quick to share facts and history of Yellowstone. Lots of stops were included and wildlife was plentiful, and the wildflowers were beautiful. But the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone may have been the highlight and biggest surprise of the day. You simply must go!! And Globe Trekkers is The way to go!!

  We had an extraordinary private Yellowstone tour with Jason Jones. His deep knowledge of Yellowstone’s geology and wildlife brought the park to life—he had an uncanny eye for spotting bison, mountain goats, and even bears. Jason answered all our questions with patience and depth, and his adventurous spirit was contagious. Highlights included Mammoth Springs, Firehole Road, and a breathtaking stop at Old Faithful. A truly unforgettable day—highly recommend Jason and this Viator experience.
