After being picked up from a convenient central Melbourne CBD location in air-conditioned comfort on this full-day tour, your first stop will be the picturesque Emerald Lake in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges where you will have the opportunity to purchase your own lunch and enjoy a leisurely walk around the Lake. Then it's all aboard the world-famous Puffing Billy Steam Train. The train winds through the hills and finishes at Belgrave. Then it's off on a scenic drive to the next stop The Nobbies to take in the vista of this iconic lookout. Next it's time to visit the Phillip Island Wildlife Animal Park where you can purchase dinner before watching the adorable penguins emerge from the rolling waves and make their way home into their burrows.

I felt like a little kid traveling by train for the first time. Nathan was an excellent guide/driver. The little penguins were so cute and were very close

The tour was great! Picked up with a small bus ( fits max 25 people). Our Giude Tom was amazing and so friendly. On Phillip Island we saw the pinguins & wallabies. The nature there was unbelievable. I can really recommend the tour!

The experience was pretty much terrible: the train part was cancelled but no one told us about it in advance. I only found out about it on the day of the event. Also, the information was confusing, in one part were were supposed to meet at 10am, on the other part it mentioned 2:00pm. When we tried to contact through the channels provided, NO ONE was picking the phone to provide support. On top of that, a bus with NO AC on a day whose temperature was over 37 degrees Celsius was sent to take us to the Philip Island. When asking the guide if we could get reimbursed, he didn't know who we should contact for that, etc. We were waiting on the heat, in a beach area that they suddenly decided to take us on in order to "make up" for the Puffing Billy Train activity, for almost 30 minutes. Luckily, one of the other buses had some seats and took some of us for the remaining part of the experience, which was worth it. I asked for a reimbursement and the company agreed to provide an insignificant amount, inferior to the value I would pay if I only wanted to do the Puffing Billy. I do not plan to book any other activity with Wine Hope and Coastal Tours.

Jhon was an excellent host, he guided us really well throughout the trip. He is very soft spoken and kind and has a wealth of knowledge regarding the area and what to look for during the trip. He knows the terrain at the back of his hand, he is a very nice person, and you would really like his sense of humor and banter all along.
