My dad and I wanted to end our trip to Puerto Vallarta with a bang, and our day with Rey was everything we hoped for and more! Despite our last-minute request, Rey made it happen. We started with breakfast at a local spot, then took a taxi boat from Boca de Tomatlán to Playa Quimixto. From there, we walked through a charming village, where Rey’s warm welcome from the locals made us feel right at home. Next, we hopped on horses for a scenic ride to Cascada Turística Pto Vallarta. As total beginners, we appreciated Rey’s patience and guidance—he made us feel safe while still making it an adventure. The waterfall was stunning, and the drinks were refreshing. After a break, we rode back down and enjoyed an incredible lunch at a beautiful beachside bar. Rey felt like an old friend—his energy put us at ease, and my dad and I don’t usually click with people so easily, but he made the experience unforgettable. This was the highlight of our trip, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable adventure. Can’t wait to go back and try more of what Rey has to offer!

Ray was absolutely phenomenal with his immersive experience in Mismaloya. He knows the locals extremely well so when we went for my first time Spear fishing in Mexico he knew exactly where to take me. His knowledge of the wildlife and location made my experience spectacular. We ended up catching two fish within the first 30 mins of being in the water. He then taught me everything I needed to know about gutting and descaling it was a breeze. I ended up cooking up my fish with the locals on the beach and it made a phenomenal trip. I highly recommend his tours for all experience levels. He truly can accommodate anyone!

This was one of the best tropical experiences I have ever had. From horseback riding through streams up through a small mountain coming down to see some of puerto Vallarta’s finest views. We also took a boat about 30’mins out to a small town called Boca / incredible red snappers. Rey made everything about the tour amazing. Being former military is his trained to keep you safe and comfortable while riding the horses. I will be back again ! ( God willing )

I went spearfishing with Rey to a great secluded beach, with my wife and son in tow. Rey helped me to understand the fundamentals of spearfishing and I had the opportunity to get a few. My wife and son had a great time on the beach and even had an chanc to sup. Over all I would do it again in a heartbeat. Rey is friendly, nice and really knows the locals of the area, all which help to make the experience that much better.

Rey created a unique trip just for my 13 year old daughter. We rode to local waterfalls, on trails, through town, water and to the beach. He gave her pointers and feedback to help advance her riding skills. Rey prioritizes safety and customizing the adventure to meet your requests. We will absolutely book with him anytime we are in PVR.

Rey is a very knowledgeable and experienced tour guide. We had a great time with Rey. If you're looking for a nice and relaxing horse back riding experience so you can enjoy all sights and sounds of nature. Most people touring dont see as locals do then this is the tour for you. Lunch at a local spot was delicious. The massage at the end was a great finish touch. Don't miss your chance to see where they filmed predator the movie with the govenator. ILL BE BACK!!!

Hands down, this was the best part of our vacation. Rey was an amazing guide during our horseback riding adventure. You will experience the natural landscapes of PV. We traveled to waterfalls, wooded trails and scenic roads. The highlight of our horseback riding adventure was having drinks/lunch at a local eatery. The margaritas were amazing and the food was five star quality! I highly recommend this tour!

An amazing ride through the jungle with waterfalls and swimming holes. Rey took good care of us and showed us some wonderful local secrets. We had a day to remember.

Today we had a horse back riding with Rey. We had a wonderful time! Enjoyed the wilderness of the Jungle and appreciate the site seeing and stories behind it. Especially one with the “Predator” movie. We enjoyed chilling out in the restaurant and the refreshing swim in the little lake next to the waterfall. The Tequila we tested was delicious. Although there were some challenges during the trip due to our incompetence, Rey patiently dealt with them. He made us feel very comfortable and safe. It just added a bit more spice to our jungle adventure. We highly recommend Rey Spearo Adventure tours and definitely will do it again when we get back to Puerto Vallarta next time hopefully better fit.
