5.00Our river safari in Bentota was an absolutely brilliant experience and a true highlight of our trip. A big part of what made it so special was our guide, Coca, who was exceptional from start to finish. His knowledge of the river ecosystem was impressive, and he had an incredible eye for spotting wildlife—we would have missed so much without him. Thanks to Coca, we were able to see monitors, crocodiles, snakes, and monkeys up close in their natural habitat. Beyond his expertise, Coca was also warm, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and made every effort to help us capture the best possible photos, which we really appreciated. If you're considering a river safari in Bentota, I can’t recommend it enough—especially if you’re lucky enough to have Coca as your guide. It was an unforgettable experience!

5.00The tour is only as good as it's guide, and our guide Coca was excellent. Lots to see. Feed the monkeys, see the Water Monitor's, crocodiles and Birdlife. I definitely recommend this as a thing to do in Bentota.

5.00Very educational safari tour with guide Coca. Saw many animals and birds like dragon, snakes, crocodiles. Nice tour. Friendly man and photographs the animals up close for you. Super experience!

5.00We loved it! We had such a nice experience and saw a lot of animals. It was very relaxing with the boot and under the trees :). Our boot driver Coca was also very friendly and spotted a lot of animals + knew some pretty good German! Would absolutely recommend :)

5.00Our Bentota River Safari with Nisha Tours and Travels was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was well organized and the team was very welcoming and professional. The boat ride through the beautiful mangroves was absolutely stunning. We saw so much wildlife along the river including crocodiles, monkeys, colorful birds, lizards and even a few hidden animals along the mangrove roots. The guide shared interesting information about the river and the ecosystem which made the safari even more enjoyable. The boat was comfortable and the ride was very smooth, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the scenery and nature around us. It felt like a real adventure while still being peaceful and relaxing. If you are visiting Bentota, I highly recommend booking your river safari with Nisha Tours and Travels. It’s an incredible experience.

5.00We loved our safari with Coca. We did the 3pm tour so didn’t expect to see as much as the morning but saw crocodiles, lizards, snakes, kingfishers, eagles, chameleons, bats and fed monkeys mango. We couldn’t believe some of the camouflaged things he spotted! He was really knowledgable and took some amazing photos and videos for us as well. Really good value for the price.
