We enjoyed the tour and our guide Mario was great. Definitely book this on day 1 of your trip. If you have dietary restrictions, however, be careful. We indicated on our reservation that we needed gluten free options and this information wasn’t passed along nor did the group respond to my advance requests to confirm.
Not all in Trastavere as advertised

Only the last 1/2 of the tour was in Trastavere and the other half was across the river. Two of the four stops had no seating, so that along with all of the walking left us with sore backs and feet. The food was good, but I didn’t feel like it was worth the money we paid for the tour.

What a fabulous experience! This food tour combined all my favorite things, fantastic food, wine, limoncello, history, and touring. Mario, our guide, was very knowledgeable about Rome, history, classic Italian foods and traditions. We highly recommend this tour and Mario! Grazie Mille!

This was the perfect walking food tour. Our guide, Davido was excellent. He is knowledgeable and very personable with a great sense of humor. Each of the 4 food stops were great. It was an added bonus that the others in our group were a joy to spend an evening with. We highly recommend.

Wow, what an amazing food and wine tour - we were honestly blown away by our experience and highly recommend. Federica was a delight and made the tour even that much better. She grew up in Rome and it was so wonderful to hear her experiences from a child to adult. Loved that we had the opportunity to eat like a local for the night which is exactly what we wanted for our first trip to Rome. The food was divine and my favorite part was the delicious gelato. This is a must-do activity, especially for your first visit to Rome!
