During the summer season (from May 1 to October 30), from our office in Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) our buses goes to the most beautiful places in our region every day. Our buses are the most convenient and also the cheapest option to get to Truso Valley, Juta and Darial Gorge from Kazbegi (Stepancminda). Buses are a transfer service. You do treks on your own.

Truso Valley is the most beautiful valley in Georgia. Truso Valley is a magical place with magnificent mineral springs, a rapid river and natural “pools”. In the valley, you can do on a delightful trek (22 km of the flat route) through the Kasari Canyon, the abandoned village Ketrisi, two monasteries (women’s and men’s) to the Zakagori Fortress and the border with Russia, where the Georgian military base is located. In the valley, you can arrange a picnic and have lunch. In the valley, you will meet many shepherds and their herds.

OUR TRUSO VALLEY BUS SCHEDULE: √ EVERY DAY AT 9:15 am (PICK UP TIME: 4:30 pm) √ EVERY DAY 11:15 am (PICK UP TIME: 6:30 pm) This is the bus from our office in Stepantsminda to the starting point of the Truso Valley trek, which is located in the village Okrokana. The pick-up point is in the same place. You do trek on your own. Bus is only a transfer service. DRIVE TO / FROM THE STARTING POINT OF TREKKING IN TRUSO VALLEY (OKROKANA VILLAGE) IS 30-40 MINUTES. You cannot change the departure/return hours. If you have a ticket at 9:15 am, your pick up time is 4:30 pm. If you have a ticket at 11:15 am, your pick up time is 6:30 pm. The ticket is valid for departure and return only on the same day. Purchased tickets are non-refundable and the tickets cannot be exchanged.

Fast and very punctual journey. Good driver who does not take risks like most Georgians ^^ Sufficient time left in the valley to explore to the end without rushing. Rates quite expensive for the proposed Service

Very good Taxi Service offered, professional in every way. The stretch of road from the general road to the village is pretty bad and requires all terrain. The day was rainy and the meeting point lacks a place to garrison if you arrive soon as was our case. I'd rather wait for them to wait.

Service offered by the Enterprise very well, but expensive for what it really is (the positive is that at least you do not have to negotiate with the mafia of taxi drivers who gather in the town square). The valley was overcrowded with vans that invaded the roads to accompany people just to take the picture, there should be more respect for hikers and the mountain. It is unpleasant to have to keep an eye on passing cars and to stop to let them pass.

The meeting place was also easy to understand, and when you entered the store, you were given a verbal route guide. The hike itself was also a very worthwhile route, especially the view from the lake and the fortress at the finish line. The journey back and forth was smooth.

Prompt Service and good service. For the route of the Truso Valley, 6 hours and a half are available. Gives time but a little fair to make long stops

Mountain Freaks, our company for our transfers was great. The hike was ok. It was sort of a Yellowstone Park light. To be fair we had just finished hiking the classic trail in the Svaneti and so we were a little underwhelmed. Probably wouldn't;t do it again. From what I've heard would probably try Juta next time.

Truso Valley is absolutely gorgeous and definitely worth the visit! The customer service was so nice! They say they don't usually accept exchanging the date after purchase, but they let me do that. Thanks to the extremely kind service, I got to see the beautiful Truso Valley!

If you have a car (not even a 4x4) you can easily slowly get to the trailhead. I went to Mountainfreaks days before and asked if it was possible and they were very clear that it was not. In Georgia i have done roads with my Renault 10x worse. They just wanted my money. It was very expensive because it was like 20 euros just to get nasically a taxi drive with 6 other random people. I have heard about full day tours with a guide for way less. What a total scam i don't follow all the good reviews? Also the pick up time was way late and no possibility to shorten it so i hitch hiked back. NOT worth this much money at all and if u have a rental just go to kvemo okrokana and start from there on foot.

Booked with Mountain Freaks for the Truso Valley drop off and pick up. Couldn’t have been simpler and made hiking solo without a car so much easier. 10/10 would recommend and book again.

Superb trip to truso valley. The beginning hike within the valley can be a tad boring for the first 4km, but then it opens up and you can see the towns and ruins and monestaries in the distance. Super stunning and nice.The trip wa super well organized with no delays, and good explanation of what to expect. When we were there, at least 2 cafes were along the way. The one near the end is owned by a monestary, with really nice local soup. If you want to use those, bring cash!
