08:00 : Tour guide pick you up at your hotel in Sapa Tower or Sapa Retreat Condotel . Start to trekking to Y Linh Ho village and then start hiking through the rice terraces along Muong Hoa. Y Linh Ho village is surrounded by the majestic Hoang Lien Son range, located in San Sa Ho commune, Sa Pa town, Lao Cai. Along the Muong Hoa valley, from Sapa town, visitors go in the direction of Lao Chai village. From here you can see the tiny Lao Chai San 2 bridge on the left hand side below. This bridge crosses the chasm connecting Lao Chai and Y Linh Ho. The pedestrians will cross this bridge and go to Y Linh Ho.

10h00 : Arrive Lao Chai village is also home to the Black H'mong and Red Dao ethnic groups. These are also two large villages in Sapa tourist area. Lao Chai - Ta Van village is located in the middle of Hoang Lien Son mountain range.

5.00It was an amazing experience! And the Highlight of our vietnam trip. The meal at a homestay at the end was delicious. I would highly recommend it. Amazing scenery, sometimes steep and slippery. Just a warning that you will be walking for at least 4 hours.

5.00My timing was bad as the weather dropped drastically the day I reached Sapa but the group was good fun. As such, that was a bit of a salvage on the trip. But generally Sapa even the town itself was beautiful. The train and the trip through to the top was amazing

5.00Our guide, Zem, was incredibly friendly and attentive. The tour was spectacular, taking us through stunning spots among the rice fields and giving us insight into the tradition and culture of the different ethnic groups. She spoke perfect English and explained everything wonderfully — from the bamboo forests to the rice terraces. Truly an unforgettable experience.

5.00A unique and impressive experience. They take you through rice fields and along dirt roads (which turn to mud when it rains—bring rain boots), and explain the local way of life. Mao Co was our guide, a local woman who explains everything in detail, including how the native people of Sa Pa live and make a living. The homestay is very rustic, with no TV and meant just for sleeping—it’s a nice place, but don’t expect a 5-star hotel. Still, you’ll get a good night’s sleep and rest well. Dinner and breakfast are quite delicious, and you eat together with the group you did the tour with. I highly recommend it if you’re a nature lover and want to learn about the culture. If possible, ask for Mao Co—she was our tour guide throughout, extremely professional, and her English is very good.

5.00Well-organized tour, with breathtaking views among rice paddies and local villages. The guide was nice and prepared, lunch in the local house delicious. A challenging trek but absolutely recommended for those who want to discover the real Sa Pa.
