The cruise was as advertised. The boat is nice, with several decks and the option of inside and outdoor seating. Reasonably priced cash bar- $8 mimosas when we went! The only negative for us was difficulty hearing the recorded narration (and that it is recorded vs having a live person narrate in real time). But overall, a solid experience and pretty good value.

You take a ride under the golden gate and near Alcatraz. There are refreshments on the boat. We did the tour on a chilly, wet day in early January 2026 so the hot chocolate was very nice.

Great way to spend time with friends or family. We went on December 30th. Bundle up excessively if you go in winter. The deal of having some warm snacks on the ship was excellent

Easy and straightforward ticket process. Was so amazing! Just have to keep a good eye on kids if you take them with you but it’s such a fun experience. They tell you the history along the way

Everything was on time. I would recommend this . It was my husband and son. My son is 6. Perfect time. Not too short not too long. Staff was friendly.

We loved being able to see both bridges and Alcatraz all in one boat ride. They had a lot of I formation to share on board as well.

The ride was relaxing and informative. i am glad we did it. We used the head sets and they worked fine for the first 3/4 th of the trip, then the voice got very soft - especially the man voice. Don't know if that is the recording or if the batteries in the head set was getting weak. Would recommend the trip. We learned a lot about San Francisco history.
