We begin the day with our city loop tour where we will provide guided commentary of Hobart's major attractions and landmarks. Our first destination is the awe-inspiring kunanyi, also known as Mt. Wellington. Ascend to the pinnacle at 1272m and be mesmerized by the breathtaking panoramic view of Hobart and its surroundings.
Next, we'll venture to the renowned Salamanca Market, available on Saturdays only.
After exploring the market, we will continue our journey through the scenic Coal River Valley wine region. Along the way, we will quickly stop at the acclaimed Wicked Cheese. Then, we will proceed to the historic township of Richmond, which is rich in convict history. Richmond is home to numerous charming eateries, making it the perfect spot for our lunch break.
To conclude our adventure-filled day, we'll visit the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. Get up close and personal with the kangaroos and other native wildlife. Don't miss the chance to witness the famous Tasmanian Devil.

The tour was not satisfactory, there weren't many places to visit like the ones advertised and the car air conditioning didn't work well

Peter, our driver, was exceptionally kind and welcoming. As a local Tasmanian with extensive knowledge and experience, he shared fascinating stories about Hobart and Tasmania throughout the journey, making the trip even more enjoyable. Mount Wellington was absolutely breathtaking—a must-visit for its stunning views and natural beauty. Richmond charmed us with its picturesque streets and historic charm. At the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, we had the delightful experience of feeding kangaroos, which added a special touch to an already memorable day.!

Excellent itinerary for a cruise ship excursion. Guide has flexibility to re route us based on weather conditions and animal activity. Our guide, Chris, was friendly, personable and entertaining. He had a mask and microphone on, and it was often difficult to hear him. Then another gentleman named Peter who I thought was a random guest began speaking. Sadly, he was facing the front, speaking softly and in a monotone. We didn’t hear any of his comments nor did we know the questions from other passengers that were being answered. Didn’t realize he was a part of the Tassie tours team at all. The van itself was not good for touring. We could not see out of the back window, nor out the front or anything above sidewalks next to us. Bottom line after asking multiple times for them to speak up, we pretty much abandoned any hope of hearing while driving. Sad as we paid a good bit for this tour.

We had a wonderful tour with Gino our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable of both Tasmania and Australia, he made the trip really entertaining with his humour and tales about his own home Hobart. From the 2 Prestonians England.
