On this Private Foodie experience, you’ll set off on a jaunt around Chinatown where you’ll find some of the best street food in Singapore. Aside from the Chinatown Food Complex, where you can taste Michelin starred street food, you’ll find such delights as poh piah (fresh spring roll) and chwee kueh (water rice cake). Maybe it’ll be the food which lulls you into a coma, or maybe it’s the swaying lanterns and billowing smoke screens, who can say. From here, you’ll walk to a traditional wet market where you can see live seafood and try to decipher all types of ingredients.
Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your interests and needs. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible so you can always change your mind about what you want to do.

We visited a variety of areas and tasted each cultures food which was excellent. We all loved it and would highly recommend Stan to anyone visiting Singapore!

5.0We had a fantastic time! Our guide, Joanne, was fantastic. She arrived prepared with visuals to help us learn about Singapore’s history and umbrellas and wet wipes to keep us comfortable. She even had Lunar New Year gifts. The food choices were delicious and well chosen according to our preferences. It really was a great evening and exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend both the tour and Joanne as your guide.

5.0Take the time to fill out the questionnaire before so your guide can give you your best tour. That said, Stefan chose local specialties for us that were interesting and fun. The Pandan cake, the Chinese New Year Good Luck Tossed Fish Salad were a hit with our group! The explore was as fun as the tasting.
