5.00After my Vatican tour I didn’t expect a lot about this tour. However I feel absolutely blown away with the Statue of David and all the paintings of Michelangelo, all the Florence history and the museum visit changed my idea about Florence. I highly recommend this tour to everyone. It is an amazing experience and it is a family friendly tour, it is not as crowded than the Vatican and still rich in culture. It is worthy every penny. Our guide was wonderful too. She said she wasn’t born there but she fell in love with their culture and never moved back to her natal place. I can understand why now.
The only way to see these museums for the first time.

5.00Totally worth it. Cosetta was a fabulous guide. We skipped the lines. Learned way more about everything we saw than we ever possibly could have doing it on our own. Would it have been great to have spent more time in each museum, sure. But she hit the highlights with us which was plenty for the day. In reality you need multiple days to go through these galleries. This was the perfect way to dive into these places for the first time. Highly recommend it.

2.00Very disappointed with this tour. It started 30 minutes late. Then we had to wait for the correct tickets for entry into the Academia. We were inside the Academia for less than 30 minutes and only was shown the David. There were elderly people who couldn’t walk well. I don’t know why they signed up for this walking tour but they were difficult and the guide was flustered. Walking between the Academia and the Uffizi we got very little information and skipped most of promised sights. We got more from the Rick Steve’s free walking tour the next day. The guide did better once the elderly people left the Uffizi early. He did not extend the tour past the planned ending time even though we started 30 minutes late. For the very large amount of money we paid this was a very disappointing tour.

3.00For whatever reason, the guide said we were reserved for Academia only. Upon review, I see that we reserved and paid for Uffizi Gallery as well, but we didn’t get to do that. I believe we are due credit.

3.00The meeting point is easy to find and the tour guide was alright. My headset did not work so I informed the tour guide. I was given another headphone and it seemed the transmitter was the issue. At that point I’ve given up and was disappointed.
When we return we will request this tour again and the Guide!

4.00Our hotel helped us plan and purchase high speed train tickets to Florence. We didn't have any problems getting on the right train and the car number and seat numbers were printed on the tickets,. There were many sculptures and early Christian paintings - maybe too many for me. I think everyone went there mainly for the David sculpture.
