5.00This tour provided invaluable information and access to the two museums for two "newbies" to Italy. We were so thankful to have someone not only to walk us through Florence, but also to provide an amazing history lesson of art in Italy. Our guide was so knowledgeable and personable and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

5.00Hubby isn't particularly interested in art. Auntie tends to get lost in the details. I'm in the middle, and this tour suited me perfectly, having just the right amount of time, teaching, and talking. Our guide, Alessandra, was warm, patient, knowledgeable, and personable, which really made this excursion one of my favorites. The art work is incredible, and there is far too much to see in just one quick visit. But if you're looking for a "Cliffnotes" version -- chockful of highlights and history -- you'll enjoy this tour. (If you're looking for a deep-dive, you'll want to consider something else.)

1.00Instead of a small group duomo walking tour, they should rename this as “a jog through Florence museums with 15 other people.” The whole tour is poorly conceived because they try to do too much in too brief a period. We went to two museums but only got to see about 6 works total. There was no time to look at other art and persons who wandered off were scolded. We navigated the very crowded streets of Florence with a large tour group. Despite the time crunch, we had time to stop at a local shop (Il Papiro) for a sales pitch. I took numerous tours during my visit to Italy and this was by far the worst.

5.00Pack patience. The crowds are crazy! This tour made it easier to navigate the craziness. Our guide was lovely and explains everything as we approached.

5.00A great walking tour visiting both the Galleria dell’Academia and the Uffitzi Gallery. Our guide Cosetta was very knowledgeable about the artworks and the combined tour was very interesting. If you are going in winter make sure that you wear warm clothes and take an umbrella.

5.00Sylvia was our tour guide and was extremely knowledgeable on all the different things we saw. It was great seeing both places and wonderful hearing all about the historic events that took place in the past. I loved hearing about the history behind the monuments and how they were built .

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our time with our guide, Alessandra, who provided unique insight as an art historian. The two museums have more art in them (especially the Uffizi) than you can soak in during several days, so to take a tour for about 4 hours can be daunting. Having an experienced guide really helped us not only appreciate and understand the art, but get us to the most important works directly, such as Botticelli's Venus and Spring. We then had the rest of the day to enjoy the museum on our time. The only issue is that there was quite a long line for a skip the line tour. That really falls on the Uffizi, however, as they apparently over sell those tickets to tour groups. Hardly Alessandra's fault, but just understand that could happen, even though you are paying for a skip the line ticket. That line was still a lot shorter than general admission.

5.00This tour is a must do and highly recommended! We had the best tour guide, Catarina (Cathy)! She was so knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. We did Accademia, then a walking tour in our way to Uffizi. We saw so much and loved it! Highly recommend!
