This is an adventure good for those looking to enjoy nature and a unique rainforest experience. This experience is focused on providing a true local view of El Yunque, with historical facts and information about the ecosystem along the trip. Transportation is included and we pick you up anywhere in the San Juan Area.

El Yunque National Forest
We visit the Eastside of El Yunque Rainforest. Our adventure starts with a 30 minute hike (the path can be muddy) to the first mineral water, natural water pool. There you can enjoy the landscape, swim in the water and live in nature. Along the way you will learn of the bio diverse ecosystem of the rainforest, touch bamboo, unique flora, guava trees and 300 year old trees. Further up after a 15 minute hike, a little rocky there is another watering hole with natural waterfalls. NOTE : Saturday tour take a different route and require participants to be in good physical condition. This route is great for people in shape ready for a more steep and muddy adventure. If this is not for you, we encourage to book with us on any other day of the week. We are featured in Kayak Travel guide for San Juan.

2.00Our tour guide was condescending (made several comments to me and the rest of the group) and hard to hear when giving out safety instructions. Close to ruined the experience. People pay money to have a good guide and fun time. Not quite sure what her problem was. Bad vibes. This was my third time in El Yunque and definitely the worst. If you book this just hope you get a different guide than we did! If you have a good guide you will have a great time

5.00This Yunque tour was fantastic according to my 22 year old son and 25 year old brother. They were picked up promptly at the pick up spot, the plaza near our Airbnb in old San Juan. It was an easy 5 minute walk. We received a text the day before with reminders of what to bring and expect and the pick up time. The guys had pictures and videos the tour guide took with their personal phone. The excursion was just as described and they were picked up at 6:30 am and then were back on the road to the air bnb around 11 am. They said they had a great time and was one of the highlights of our vacation. I highly recommend this tour for anyone that wants a bit of adventure and a direct pick up from your accommodations.

5.00When we were told the pickup time my boyfriend and I were not pleased but these guys know what they are doing. Eliu and his parter got us to the rainforest before all the crowds rolled in, and the views were spectacular. Definitely book this tour, you won’t be disappointed!

5.00We had a great time. Went on this tour with my husband. Our little group was friendly. 12 people total. Tour guides Alex and Patricia were the bomb. I recommend wearing tennis shoes with good grib or close toed water sandals with good grib. Hike was moderately difficult. We went in the morning and it was great, crowds got heavier when we were wrapping up. I’m a good swimmer and still chose to use the life jackets offered. And I’m glad I did. That cliff jump was no joke. Overall had a great time! 10/10

5.00This will be a bucket list item to have done for sure! I faced my fears and baby jumped from the 5 ft cliffs. The tour guides were hysterical and taught you things along the way. We got to watch Alex and Eliu do backflips off the rocks. The early morning pickup was totally worth it to beat the crowd and I would do it again even being the sheltered Midwesterner I am.

5.00First of all, we really appreciate our guide Alex. He is gorgeous and heartwarming. With such an experienced guide, we know about creatures lived in the forest better. What’s more, we learn how the forest got its name; why there are white leaves. He also took wonderful pictures with nice skills. We also made new friends in the trip who are always there to help and encourage. The tour is not only a physical activity but also a metal relax. We definitely highly recommend it for all the people who want to recharge their batteries through a small adventure.o

5.00Best experience!! Paul was the absolute best. Such a fun time, he took the best pictures, and it’s a trip my friends and I will forever remember! He had so much knowledge, it was truly the best experience!

5.00Great activity to do while in the area. My husband and i did the Saturday 830 group which was perfect for us , we got there before most of the other groups and the area wasn’t too crowded yet. Patricia was our guide and was great. The Saturday experience is for sure better matched for people who are used to hiking or are overall active but by no means is it difficult if you’re one of those people. Our group was all adults, wouldn’t recommend with young children. Be prepared to get muddy and wet!!
