Take a walk on the wild side of Tromsø on this small-group outdoor hiking tour and explore the Arctic nature on foot. You'll be taken to the countryside of Tromsø in the middle of beautiful mountains, fjords and valleys, where you and your group will snowshoe up a small mountain or along a valley with a guide. On the tour we will be using snowshoes, which makes it easier and a lot of fun to walk on the snow.
In the autumn months (October and November), you'll get to enjoy the colourful countryside before it is covered with a thick layer of snow. When there is not much snow, the tour is a hiking tour without snowshoes.

While there were not a lot of snow, we did had the chance to snowshoe for a few hours in 10cm snow/slush. We were geeated with a lovely vegan sandwich halfway through the maintain where we stopped and took picture. If you do not want to get your feet wet, plan for waterproof shoes and an extra pair of socks for the way back. Gérard was very fun and approachable. I'd definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic day in the snowy mountains with our wonderful guide Max. He made sure to guide us to the best location given the time of year, weather and type of snow. Our riverside picnic was delicious and fun and his professional photos were terrific!

Breathtakingly beautiful! Our guides were fun and helpful. Loved the sandwiches and hot beverages provided on the trail half way through. I highly recommend to anyone wanting an authentic experience in Norway. Instead of cancelling our trip out due to high winds and snow they altered our trail. We were disappointed at first to not hike to a higher elevation with views of the fjords. We were unexpectedly surprised by the quietness and beauty of the forest instead. It was the best decision by the guides. We stopped at a river for pictures and snacks. The guides took numerous pictures of us with their SLR camera at no extra cost. Pics we wouldn’t have taken. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience Norway in such an intimate setting with nature.

Had a great hike with Anna. The weather was superb and landscape so beautiful. We hiked on the beautiful island of Kvaløya and went all the way to the Lavvu of Ersfjord. Stopped off at the Lavvu for sandwich and a warm drink. Me and my family had a great time. Highly recommend.

We took a small group snowshoeing tour with Max. The views were beautiful. Max was incredibly knowledgeable and showed us all sorts of interesting natural phenomena. We stopped for a picnic with delicious sandwiches and hot drinks. The tea was especially tasty. All in all, a great experience. I would highly recommend if you want to do something outdoors free of the stress of chasing the lights.
